Review of Rockport Men's Ledge Hill Chukka Boot
This is a great looking boot and I ordered it as soon as it was available because it had my 6.5 size. Unfortunately, Rockport only makes this in wide for that size. I dont know why. It kinda fitted with heavy socks but would guess it would get looser as I continued to wear it so I decided to return it instead. Love the boot but coulgnt get it in the right width size.

Timberland Men's Stormbuck Chukka Boot Reviews
These shoes look fantastic, and fit outrageously well. I usually wear a size 11, and I have wider feet with low arches. These fit well, and the finish is great!

Best Red Wing Heritage Men's Classic Work Chukka Boot - Suede Deals
After going through the soles in a pair of Clark Roar in about six months, I wanted to find a more durable pair of desert boots. Every review I could find on the Red Wing Work Chukka Boots indicated that they might fit the bill. They are resolable. The leathers used are full grain.
These boots are everything the reviews said. They are sewn extremely well. The materials are first rate. The toe box is narrower than similarly sized Clark boots. The fit is different as well. The tongue is sewn in closer so that getting in and out of the boot at first is tight. There is very little cushioning. The leather insole will eventually mold itself to your foot. The leather the uppers are cut from may be more than twice as thick as my Clark Roars. All this is just to say that these boots will probably not be comfortable out of the box. They will require a break-in. If you normally wear a medium size, you might want to consider a wide in the same size.
I think these boots will be very long-lived. Once I have mine really broken-in, I think they will be my favorites.
To fit perfect I had to choose half a size larger than my other 'Red Wings'.
but the right one is small than the left one
so no comfortable when i wear it daylight

Honest reviews on Red Wing Heritage Men's Classic Work Chukka Boot - Suede
The shoes are well built but not as comfortable as Red Wings I've had in the past. Need to wear a thick sock or cushioned insole. There's no cushioning like other Red Wing boots or shoes. Maybe I didn't read enough about them before buying. However, as far as quality materials and workmanship they can't be beat.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Red Wing Heritage Men's Classic Work Chukka Boot - Suede
This boot has worn nicely over the past 2 years developing a nice patina and conforming to my feet gradually. It has the handmade feel of all redwing boots -a quality I've appreciated since I purchased my first pull on redwing wellingtons in 1987. I know this pair will only get better over time and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who has the patience to break it in and appreciates quality craftsmanship.Saturday, March 15, 2014
Discount Clarks Women's Desert Boot Lace-Up Boot
I wanted a simple leather boot that would go with casual wear & these definitely fit the bill. I love the look of these they are a nice clean classic style. They are definitely up to the standard of Clark's high quality and the beeswax leather looks very nice (pretty much how it looks in the pictures). I found them to need some break in before they got comfortable though (I ordered my normal size and medium width) they were snug across the ball of the foot initially, but after wearing them a few times this improved a lot. I definitely can't wear thick socks with them though. The crepe sole was not as cushy as I thought it would be, but it's not that bad really. Time will tell how durable the sole is, but the leather seems like a good quality. Overall once you get them worn in a bit and conformed to your foot, these are a pretty nice stylish boot.
to see if they were as comfortable now as then. When they arrived I put them on and went for a 2 mile walk. I bought the size I would always buy, I did not do as some say and go a .5 size smaller. They felt fine to me and more comfortable then I recalled. Glad I remembered the desert boot!!

Give 'em a chance to break in and you won't be disappointed. I debated buying these boots after reading the reviews, and almost sent them back when I got them. I was immediately irritated when putting these on. They cut into the top of my foot above my toes, and I thought 'well these suck' and then I remembered reading in the reviews that they needed to be broken in so I gave it a try. I've only worn these boots two days and they are no longer cutting into the top of my foot. They are lightweight and the tread gets great traction and doesn't get dirty as easily as I thought. The sole is a bit hard for my taste, but they don't make my feet hurt at the end of the day like some of the other boots I've purchased. They go with just about everything and even in a size 10 they don't look ridiculously big like some boots. I would say they fit true to size.Best Deals for Clarks Women's Desert Boot Lace-Up Boot
I bought these Clark shoes because I used to wear them almost 40 years ago and wantedto see if they were as comfortable now as then. When they arrived I put them on and went for a 2 mile walk. I bought the size I would always buy, I did not do as some say and go a .5 size smaller. They felt fine to me and more comfortable then I recalled. Glad I remembered the desert boot!!
Honest reviews on Clarks Women's Desert Boot Lace-Up Boot
I've read a lot of different things about the sizing of these shoes, so I really think you should try them on before you buy. I bought my true size, which is 7 (I can even do 71/2 sometimes), and they are a little big, and they also make my feet LOOK big. I have big feet for my height (I am 5'1), so I don't like shoes that make my feet look even bigger than normal shoes. I do like the look/style, and the quality is good, but I do agree with other reviewers that for Clarks, they seem to lack comfort. I wish there was more cushioning.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Clarks Women's Desert Boot Lace-Up Boot
The boots are lovely, classic, and well made. The only complaint I have would be that they are incredibly tough to break in. So much so that one of my heels is bruised. They are quite comfortable in other areas, and once they are broken into there are no problems. No foot/heel is the same, so I highly recommend them.Thursday, March 6, 2014

I ordered this shoe to wear with my Tuxedo to our Great Gatsby Theme Party. It is a perfect shoe for the era and it seems well made. However, I ordered my size and it is at least 1 size too large on my feet. I have exchanged it for a size smaller. I recommend ordering a size smaller than you wear.
