Review of Timberland Pro Men's Five Star Terrene Boots
I decided not to keep these based on style, but I thought I'd weigh in on sizing. I got a half size smaller than my usual and that seemed like a good fit. I usually order a wide shoe but did not in this case (thinking they were wide already) and they were too snug in that regard. So while I usually order 10 1/2 wide, a 10 wide in this shoe would fit me well. My two stars are based on the fact that it is really annoying for customers to have to guess their size based on other reviews. I almost ordered a 9 1/2. I buy my shoes online and 95% of them are true to size. (To clarify, the reviews I read were on Zappo's where there is discussion of the mis-sizing). I have not had this issue with other Timberland shoes.

Reviews of Bates Men's Lites E00078 Chukka Work Shoe
At first I really liked these shoes; they were comfortable, seemingly durable, and the soles were softer than the average bates dress shoe. However, after about 6 months of continuous every-day wear, the heel part of the right shoe's sole began hollowing out, meaning the outer layer still existed but the inside material wore away leaving the shoes un-even to walk on. Also, when walking in wet weather, the sole fills with water. Not good. Overall, I would not buy these if you plan on using them for an everyday uniform work shoe.

Switched back from patent leather to genuine leather not as flashy but look good for a long time after patent gets trashed. Takes a little bit of old school shoe polishing skills! Comfortable once broken in and the padded collar prevents pressure points at the ankleBest Deals for Bates Men's Lites E00078 Chukka Work Shoe
I bought these shoes for my husband. At first, he thought the shoe look like cheap material and wanted me to return the shoe. But he put the shoes on and loves the fit. I think the shoes look quite nice on him. I can hardly get him to take the shoes off.Honest reviews on Bates Men's Lites E00078 Chukka Work Shoe
I bought these maybe 4 or 5 years ago, because I have bad knees. Yes, I need a new pair and am hoping the price goes down. But, after all these years of "daily" wearing(including 3 years on the concrete floor of a retail giant) , these shoes are still in good shape, comfortable on my feet, comfortable to walk in, and my bad knees love them. The cushioned ankle top is great, as it doesn't rub. As far as I'm concerned, this is my shoe for life, and I'm in my 40's.Tuesday, July 1, 2014
Best Red Wing Heritage Men's Classic Work Chukka Boot - Suede Deals
After going through the soles in a pair of Clark Roar in about six months, I wanted to find a more durable pair of desert boots. Every review I could find on the Red Wing Work Chukka Boots indicated that they might fit the bill. They are resolable. The leathers used are full grain.
These boots are everything the reviews said. They are sewn extremely well. The materials are first rate. The toe box is narrower than similarly sized Clark boots. The fit is different as well. The tongue is sewn in closer so that getting in and out of the boot at first is tight. There is very little cushioning. The leather insole will eventually mold itself to your foot. The leather the uppers are cut from may be more than twice as thick as my Clark Roars. All this is just to say that these boots will probably not be comfortable out of the box. They will require a break-in. If you normally wear a medium size, you might want to consider a wide in the same size.
I think these boots will be very long-lived. Once I have mine really broken-in, I think they will be my favorites.
To fit perfect I had to choose half a size larger than my other 'Red Wings'.
but the right one is small than the left one
so no comfortable when i wear it daylight

Honest reviews on Red Wing Heritage Men's Classic Work Chukka Boot - Suede
The shoes are well built but not as comfortable as Red Wings I've had in the past. Need to wear a thick sock or cushioned insole. There's no cushioning like other Red Wing boots or shoes. Maybe I didn't read enough about them before buying. However, as far as quality materials and workmanship they can't be beat.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Red Wing Heritage Men's Classic Work Chukka Boot - Suede
This boot has worn nicely over the past 2 years developing a nice patina and conforming to my feet gradually. It has the handmade feel of all redwing boots -a quality I've appreciated since I purchased my first pull on redwing wellingtons in 1987. I know this pair will only get better over time and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who has the patience to break it in and appreciates quality craftsmanship.Wednesday, February 19, 2014
Cheap ENVY Women's Riva
I bought these from another site at about the same price point. I choose the black suede with the leopard platform and heel. These are absolutely gorgeous! The product description is a bit off. I would say these are closer to 5-inches. They are xomfy and extremely easy to walk in. I had no problems with slippage. There us a back zipper. With tights though. I don't even need to unzip to slip them on and off. I am in between a whole and half size. I ordered the half size an this gives me room for trouser socks if I want to wear them with dress pants or jeans. In highly recommend the suede. They are soft and there is material over the back of the zipper so that it won't irritate the ankle or snag tights. Love these!
