Solid shoes, very nice and comfortable. Color (I bought red brown) is as shown in the picture, although only the left shoe has the "oiled" tip (the darker spot) shown in the picture. The right shoe just doesn't have it (consequently, the left shoe appears dirty). Also, these shoes are surprisingly heavy, so don't buy them if you are looking for a lightweight pair. Still, I like them a lot. Rustic but tasteful.

When I first ordered, I had to return it because it ran rather large. I had to reorder a whole size smaller than I am used to. The boot looks great, but is rigid. I would have given it 5 stars if the fit was better. The color is fantastic and I have no reservations dressing it up at the office or dressing it down with jeans. I ended up ordering these boots over others because the heel has a nice rustic look to it. Overall, it's a purchase I am pleased with.

I have a moderately high instep. The foot opening is set so far rearward that I can't even begin to get my foot into these boots. Who knows how they fit? Very disappointed.

I normally wear a size 8.5 or 9 and opted for an 8 and, as everyone has stated, still runs big. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be but it's comfortable with the size. I don't want to exchange it for a smaller size as I wasn't sliding in the shoes when I was walking around with them.

The feel on the shoes is very comfortable. I didn't walk around them long enough and will probably update after I attend a wedding at the end of the month to get a better feel of wearing them after a long day, but I can tell that my feet won't fatigue wearing them. I love the look of them.

I ordered what I thought to be black shoes. The color is mottled, as if painted with an almost empty spray can. Some areas missing color. Makes them look cheap. More of a gray than black. Maybe I didn't understand the style. Sorry to return as the rest of the shoe looked well made.

Order a 1/2 size smaller than you would originally wear and you will be all set. Very comfortable and I have received many compliments.

they have to break in. the leather/suede can hurt the back of your foot. i have callouses now where my foot rubs against the back. however, they are very soft in other places. also, they run big. i have a 10 sneaker, a 9.5 dress shoe, and i got these in a 9. i had to return the 9.5s.

Do I need printed Clarks desert boots? YES! I ordered the 8.5 because that is the size of my older Clarks desert boots. They are a skosh snug, but not uncomfortable and I know they will stretch.

I ordered this for my boyfriend who normally wears a 12.5-13 in Men's. We had to return twicefirst time exchanging a 13 for a 12, then a 12 for a 11. The 11 fits him perfectly and he loves how they look and feel-incredible quality and craftsmanship! I was aware of the reviews that said to size down, but I had ignored that in ordering women's ones for myself and I was gladin women's I found both boots and flats were true to my regular size. My only recommendation for men is to size down at least one size from your regular size in this boot. Otherwise, order away! Fantastic quality from Frye, as usual, and great pricing and service through Amazon!

Great boots! I am an adult female. Depending on the shape/ width of the toe box i wear shoe sizes 2 to 3.5. The toe box seemed a little narrow from the profile pictures so hence the !/2 size larger. This is my third Timberland purchase and never needed to make a return. Excellent quality, great fit, durable! NO BLISTERS even after being on my feet for several hours on my first outing! Also like the removable insoles if one needs to replace with more support.

Yo my boots came as scheduled. The leather is official! I sprayed some weather proofing on them and the are fine. Very comfortable. I wear boot socks with them and they feel super good. I have the gray ones too and they are really fly! Everytime I wear them I get compliments.

I received my brandy polo rangers today and Im satisfied. There are minimal scratches but its leather and i know im goin to do far worse than these. They came on time so im good. They are even more fresh in person. The pix dont do them justice. Would get a 5 if there were no scratches.
