Review of RJ Colt Men's Oscar Oiled Suede Chukka Boot
Solid shoes, very nice and comfortable. Color (I bought red brown) is as shown in the picture, although only the left shoe has the "oiled" tip (the darker spot) shown in the picture. The right shoe just doesn't have it (consequently, the left shoe appears dirty). Also, these shoes are surprisingly heavy, so don't buy them if you are looking for a lightweight pair. Still, I like them a lot. Rustic but tasteful.

Review of Clarks Men's Medway Smith Lace-Up Boot
These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. There is a slight "rock" molded into the sole and the leather upper is flexible, so no real break-in is needed. The footbed is perfectly flat with a padded insole; if you need arch support (as I do), you'll need to add a thin arch support insert. Fortunately, the boot is roomy enough to accommodate that. The boot is comfortably wide across the toes, but not sloppy, and can be laced up snugly to hold your heel in place without slipping. The inside of the boot is fabric lined but, fortunately, there is a split-leather heel cup to protect the liner from wear.
Quality seems good the leather is evenly pebbled with no blemishes, the stitching is tight, well-aligned and seems sturdy, the welt is double-stitched and there is no excess glue on the sides of the soles. The eyelets are metal. The sole is definitely softer than a Vibram hiking boot sole, which contributes to the comfort but will mean faster wear over time.
For the price (slightly over $100), I think these are a good value in a casual boot. They are no substitute for proper hiking or work boots, of course, but they aren't meant to be. I liked these enough that I ordered another pair in a different color.
It is very comfortable. You can wear with jeans or dress it up with better slacks.
It is a boot and a little bulkier than a shoe. Just saying.
I love Clark shoes and was not disappointed. Great craftsmanship.
Pros: THey are comfortable right out of the box and have a nice color.
Leather is supple and not very stiff. The stitching is tight and superb.
I did as previous reviewers suggested and ordered a full size down and that fit well.
Cons: the shoe gets scuffed up very easily. After 2 weeks it was very unsightly.
Ended up treating with a leather cleaner/conditioner and they ended up looking like new.
Great shoe.

This is my first pair of Clark's, and I love them. They were pretty stiff at first but broke in after just an hour of normal use. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller, and they still fit a little bigger than usual, but I think going a full size lower would be too small. The reason for a 4/5 rating is that they are more difficult than most shoes to get on and off in addition to the size issue. There is also really no arch support, but the sole is very cushy and comfy which I didn't realize until wearing them with normal socks rather than thick wool ones. Finally, the sole is pretty anti-slip in my opinion. Overall I would definitely recommend these shoes.Best Deals for Clarks Men's Medway Smith Lace-Up Boot

I have been looking at this boot for several weeks. This is my first shoe-boot purchase on line. Reviews indicated the boot ran large. I ordered the boot one half size smaller than I normally wear. It fit perfectly. It is very comfortable. You can wear with jeans or dress it up with better slacks.

Discount Polo Ralph Lauren Men's Torrington Chukka Boot
My fiance loved the boot; it fit well & looks sharp with jeans. Good buy, especially with the discount applied to shoes when I bought them.I'm normally 8.5 D, but a "full D". I hedged and ordered 9 D, since they will often fit. No good. Very tight, unless you have a narrow foot. I'll be returning these and hope I can find 8.5 E somewhere. Otherwise, good looking shoes.

I have a bad knee so sitting in a car, moving my foot from the accelerator to the brake bothered my knee. I needed a light weight chunka and these work perfectly.
