I have ordered Ahnu shoes for my ex husband, brother and current guy. The Belgrove, and The Quinn. So naturally with such great fitting shoes worn by three men in my life I ordered these low top Quinn's for my brother and my boyfriend. Both returned them, saying the elastic on the instep as too tight, ultimately making them difficult to pull on.

They Looked Cool, but the construction and fit were too tight, as they are pull-on's..

The laces are just for looks, which is a bit deceiving..

So yes my husband bought these shoes because they were "named" after him. Actually he's bought Ahnu previously and really liked them. He hates tying his shoes and Ahnu's (majority) don't have laces. These fit great for him and the heel portion is snug which is what he wanted. He is normally a 12.5 but decided to go up to 13 and that worked great. Sometimes he has to take a break from them for a few days because I think the soles are not as cushioned as he'd like. Maybe inserts would help. We also sprayed them with a water repellent to help with that.

I own several pairs of Ahnu and have bought my husband his second pair. He has foot pain from breaking his big toe twice years ago and arthritis has set in. He loves these shoes and has no pain while standing all day on his feet when wearing them. They are worth every penny. He says they fit true to size.

These shoes were a little over the top with the print but the shoes fit great, true to size. They are very comfortable and have wonderful leather that molded to my foot easily.

Do I need printed Clarks desert boots? YES! I ordered the 8.5 because that is the size of my older Clarks desert boots. They are a skosh snug, but not uncomfortable and I know they will stretch.

I have been a fan of the rough collection since picking up a pair of Neumok's earlier this year. As with the Neumok's, the unlined leather uppers make for a very comfortable shoe right out of the box with the Chukkamok's. I purchased the tan leather version, which has a nice look and should age well. The sole is Vibram Gumlite, which will give me a wet weather option for my professional wardrobe which is primarily leather soled shoes. The leather is somewhat thin, especially the tongue section. My Neumok's seem a little heavier. Hopefully they will wear ok over the long haul. Also I question Amazon's process for selling Allen Edmonds, as the shoes showed up in an unlabeled box with no paperwork or tags, and only contained one of the two velvet bags that should come with Allen Edmonds shoes.
