These are a sturdy pair for shoes, I would not say well constructed though.

For me they seem to be missing some quality on details, so to make them more of a fine shoe. For example, the edges around the top of the ankle are not sealed with detail but just left unfinished and the leather quality is just alright.

I have to say that there is a strong smell like paint not sure if it is from the leather or the sole of the shoe that has lasted for weeks now.

Ironically, although they seem to be named after some Italian shoe-maker, they are just another pair of shoes made in China, don't let that to mislead you.

Moreover, I am not quite sure I needed to order a size smaller than I used to wear. They seem to be a little too tight on the sides and upper foot.

The good thing is they're cheap and look pretty nice the first time you take them out of the box.

The bad thing is, the fold badly right away on the top after walking just a bit. If they were black maybe you couldn't tell the fold too much but since I got the gray it is obvious. Again, folds real bad right away, I wouldn't buy if I were you.

I am so happy with these shoes. Wedges, for me, are so much easier on my back than heels so I jumped at buying these when I saw them and am really glad I did. They are comfy, cute and go with my jeans, black pants, houndstooth pants; they are warm which I love. I might even get the pair in brown... I bought them in a 7.5 when I typically (about 90% of the time) wear a 7 or even a 6.5, but the 7.5 fit me perfectly.

A great purchase at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I originally bought these in 44 and switched them out for 43, they seem to run a bit large. After changing sizes they fit great. They bridge the gap for shoes that work with khakis if you need to be business casual but are also waterproof in case you have to walk through snow.

Comfortable immediatly, no break in required, plus they are waterproof, so I don't need to worry about stepping out into the rain or snow.

These shoes are great but with one glaring flaw (for me, at least). First they are comfortable and stylish. The sole is very solid feeling, a lot of reinforcement, and the comfort is what you can expect from Eccos...second to none. I walk 1 mile each way to work every day, and these are perfect. The one glaring flaw: that little tab that sticks up out of the heel. I like the cuff of my pants to fall evenly around my shoes, and that little tab messes that up often. A minor quibble, but a problem nonetheless. Just get rid of it and the shoe becomes perfect.

Run large, essentially half sizes only. The heel is not cupped toward Achilles tendon, so heel pads are necessary for secure fit. I also used tongue pads to keep my heel back and get a fit more like 9 rather than 9 1/2.

When I say not so great, I dint mean the look on the shoes. I was talking abt the comfort of the shoe when u wear it.

Though the shoe looks very classic and decent, but the comfort is not so great. When I wore this shoe I felt there was a lump in the middle of my feet, but ignored thinking it was new shoe. but after 4 hours of activity, I felt cramps cuz the sole of the shoe wasn't even on the feet.

This shoe is definetly not for ppl like me who prefers strolling around a lot on the streets on foot rather than take a car .

The picture doesnt do the shoe justice..it looks much better in real...its comfortable and you can it with a jeans or a softer pant.

This boot is very comfy for a steel toe. The soles are insulated from electrical ground. Perfect for maintainence or I/E Technicians. I work in a corrosive environment and the soles have performed well considering the punishment that I put them through.
