I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfect, if I want to wear socks with the boots they still fit great. I can wear a 6 1/2 or a 7 so I chose to order the 7 and it was a good choice for me. The boots are made well and the material is just what I hoped for. (not a fake suede it actually looks like a synthethic hair). I am very pleased with my purchase.

I ordered the a size 10 army green pair. I have at least three other Seychelles boots in a size 10 and this one was about a centimeter longer than the rest. The suede is beautiful, the soles are sturdy, and the color is perfect for fall. Sadly, these are going back because of the sizing issue. Also, if you have slender calves/ankles, these boots look a bit like duck boots. It would be better suited for someone with thicker legs.As other reviews mentioned, these can run a little tight so I went up a 1/2 size and that was the right move. The outer sole is a bit stiff but should flex and wear well.

They fit perfectly and the color is exactly what I wanted. However, the soles were so slippery I couldn't walk, so I took them to the shoemaker and had him but on a thin rubber sole on top of the sole. No I truly love them.

I loved the way these shoes looked and fit for the first year of use. In that time, I wore them sparingly. I have poorly formed arches, so most shoes do not feel this comfortable out of the box. The look and fit were perfect.
But, as I began to wear the shoes more at my new job a couple times a week, I noticed the shoes do not breathe well. The wool is lined on the inside, and if your foot is trapped in there for 8 hours straight, you are guaranteed to sweat. This eventually led to predictable problems such as odor, discomfort on my feet, etc. In the end, I had to banish these much loved shoes.
I had a very good experience with Generic Surplus, that I had one of their Chukka (which they stop selling) for over like 5 years. That one getting torn down, therefore, I was looking for a replacement for that.
This Chukka comes as a perfect replacement. The color are great for both casual or formal. It can fit both jeans or dress pants. And it's pretty comfort inside. Got it for about half a hundred, looking forward for it to last a few years based on the experience I had with previous Generic surplus product.
Consider it if you love Chukka boot like me

Buy Finn Comfort Linz-1008
These are a bit pricey but they are worth it. I have a lot of comparable shoes and these are my favorite. Initially the footbed may feel a little hard but the break-in period is short. The fit is true to size and the leather is soft and pliable. The insert features an ample arch support and is anatomically correct. These shoes are shaped closer to an actual foot than most shoes, which improves comfort especially at the little toe. These boots are referred to as 4-season footwear but they are not vented and do get warm in hot weather. I would say they`re more like 3-season shoes. In all, I am very pleased with my Finn Comfort Linz boots.
UPDATE: I've owned my Finn Comfort Linz shoes for over a year now and they have traveled well over 2000 miles. These shoes are like fine wine and just seem to get better as time goes by. They are starting to show wear but I`ve found a company in Ca. (Nu-Shoe) that will restore them to new using genuine Finn Comfort soles and footbeds. In the meantime, I bought another pair so I won't have to spend a day without them.
These are expensive and undoubtedly if you're a first time buyer of this (expensive) FINN style, size is a major concern. At least it was mine. For years I was an 11 1/2 D. Recently (last year) I seem to have grown to a 12. I read a lot about this model (it is difficult to get good fit info for them on line and nearly impossible to find locally since due to the cost most retailers don't stock). At any rate, I ordered the size "45" European, which is considered a 12 12 1/2 D or Medium in US size, according to the charts Finn provides. I tried them on when when received during a hot afternoon after I'd been for a walk, which is apparently when your feet are at their "largest." They were a little tight getting into (no surprise for the first time), but once my foot was in, perfect (note that all FINN's also tend to be a little tight inside for the first few hours until the inner sole begins to take your foot's mold). There's a lot of room in the forefoot, which you can see if you turn the shoe over by the width of the sole in that area, while my big toe has less than 1/4" room from the front of the inside of the shoe (remember, this was the "swollen" time of day to try the shoes on). Plenty of room and quite a comfortable fit. Compared to other "45" shoes (e.g. ECCO's made in Portugal), these run slightly small. Standing and walking around the house, comfort was excellent, though I did not venture outside (it was too hot). I wore a typical crew sock, not a skinny dress sock nor an athletic sock.
A few other things not directly related to fit. These are very light for the style. The outside leather/suede material is quite elegant but as a downside, will probably scuff and show wear readily, though that's not an issue to me. The other thing is that these are assuredly NOT summer shoes/boots. They're leather lined. I see them as an excellent Fall, early Winter (pre-snow), and Spring shoe. For slush, snow, ice I don't think these will stand up, but then I won't wear "good" shoes in that weather. For summer will be too hot.
I hope the above is helpful in making a decision since I wrote what I would have liked to read prior to ordering, but could not find.

Below is the original review re. "fit." I have since worn the boots several times on varied terrain. I'm 6', 215 lbs and aside from that, what follows is subjective, as any review of a shoe must be. They fit snugly but loosen up as the insole molds to the foot, but remain snug. I think they're designed specifically for those who need ankle support, as the snugness is expertly brought off without the shoes feeling tight you get used to it. The lightness factor, as I expected, will impact on wear and if I walked solely on concrete these would show substantial wear after 3 months...not unlike most running shoes for me. That's a factor of my weight, not a weakness of the shoe. I purchased these specifically to walk on paths through parks and light woods...basically dirt tracks with stones and small rocks. I spend a lot of time on this terrain walking my dogs and generally wear the old Clark's desert boots with that gum sole. Since I do not need ankle support, I do not particularly like the feel of this shoe for this terrain. Specifically because although I'm not scrambling or walking on rocks, every stone is pretty easily felt through the sole of the shoe. Off the path somewhat, walking on grass or pine needles, the shoe is heaven. So let me sum up. I think this shoe is specifically designed for people who need ankle support around town. I do not think it was designed to be a trail shoe. So would I buy them again? No. They're too expensive and I actually enjoy the walking in the woods/park better in the Clarks, plus these will not stand up to slushy, muddy or wet weather either (I go to leather boots for that). I also have a pair of Finn Comfort shoes for around town and much prefer them to these for that purpose again though because I do not need the ankle support. If you're lighter than me, the stones, etc may not be a problem and the wear will be better...in other words, mileage will vary. Worth the money for the crafting, materials and thought that went into them. Still a 5 star product and just not worth the money to me. I just got these and wore them all day yesterday while walking a lot over various terrain. I love them. They feel a lot like Birkenstocks because of the cork footbed. They feel like an extension of my own feet very comfortable like you belong in them. They are wide and shaped like the foot so toes have plenty of wiggle room without being loose. I got them because I walk a lot and have problems with my feet. These shoes provide arch and corrective support. By the end of a very long day in these shoes my feet weren't even tired. I'm normally a size 10, but I bought these a half-size up so that I could fit warm socks in them for the winter. They are so comfortable for walking and they look great with pants. I probably wouldn't wear them with a skirt because the boot opening is very large. Overall, an excellent dressy boot for winter.

I liked the look of these Nine West boots but this brand does not always fit me well so I didn't hold out a lot of hope that these would work. I think these boots are a very good value. The leather is very soft and supple and the boots were fairly comfortable upon first wear. I have somewhat wide feet and there is one spot that rubs my toe but because the leather is so soft, it seems to get better each time I wear them. I ordered these boots in my usual size (7.5) and found them to be a tad generous in the toe area (close to 1/2 an inch of wiggle room for my toe). Great boots! I am an adult female. Depending on the shape/ width of the toe box i wear shoe sizes 2 to 3.5. The toe box seemed a little narrow from the profile pictures so hence the !/2 size larger. This is my third Timberland purchase and never needed to make a return. Excellent quality, great fit, durable! NO BLISTERS even after being on my feet for several hours on my first outing! Also like the removable insoles if one needs to replace with more support.

These boots run big. I'm usually a size 10.5 to 11, but even the 10.5 is kind of long. I'm keeping them anyway since it's not that much of a difference. I have found that the size is consistant across the different styles (lace up/slip on/sandals) but they will stretch out a bit with wear. Love Keen shoes!
Now after a year I look at the shoes. I notice that the leather on one of them is starting to come apart at the 'toe crease'. Examining the sole I notice that it's starting to wear through in spots. I expected these shoes to last longer, especially given some reviews that mention them lasting 3-5 years. It could be I got a bad pair, it could be that they're cutting corners, or they just aren't 'what they used to be'. Are they worse than any other shoes I've had? No. In some ways they're better. They're just not the high-quality, long-lasting shoe that many other reviews said they were.

I noticed today that the toecaps are starting to come unglued. Like I said before, they've been decent shoes, I've really liked them. I just don't expect them to last that much longer. I'm already shopping for new shoes. I'd also note: I'm pretty sedentary, sit at a desk all day, don't walk around a whole lot.

I'm on my third pair of Portsmouths. I find them to be the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet. The only thing keeping them from being perfect is that on all three pairs, the glue where the leather meets the toe-box has deteriorated rather quickly. It starts out as a white residue along the edge of the toe-box on the sides of the shoe and eventually you start seeing a gap there. The rubber sole started to come apart on this pair of shoes after I had worn them for about six months. I went on the Keen website and submitted a claim (which was easy to do) and got a $100 company credit. I have never had a single problem with any other pair that I own. I own six pairs of Keen shoes and will replace with more Keen shoes. They make a great product that is backed up up by great customer service. I've had my Portsmouth for a little over a year now. When I bought them I was trying to get something better, higher quality, and more 'grown up' than the mass-market skate shoes I had worn the past. The style was a little 'crunchy' for my taste at first, but they grew on me. At first, I was quite happy. My feet seemed to stay much drier and warmer than in my old shoes. However, after about a month or so, the laces disintegrated. Not a big deal, they're not super important for this style of shoe. They are great. They look great. My son wears them to school and also wants to wear them everywhere. I don't award 5 stars because one of them has come unstitched after only 2 months. I am having it fixed on the Christmas vacation because my son wouldn't let my take it before.
Buy Bostonian Men's Barbour Boot
I've had these for a little over a week (the brown Barbour Boot in size 9w), and so far, I've gotten tons of compliments on them. They seem to run about a half size bigger than than usual though. Example, I wear a size 10 in puma running shoes, a size 9 for most dress shoes (Bass) and boots, and these 9's fit closer to a 9.5. I wear them all day at work with no problems.
I also noticed that the heel had worn appreciably in that time as well.
No bootstrap on rear of shoe made putting them on a bit tedious.

Always a bit of a challenge buying shoes online, but these fit. They are a wee bit narrow, which was fine for me. The front and back of the boot are polished and the rest is matt, which I thing looks nice. They are comfortable, although I do not do a ton of walking in them (I change shoes for my walking commute). The quality seems quite good (made in India). These shoes fit well, but I had to return them because after just a week, they had covered my office floor (linoleum) with scuff/skid marks. Custodial staff gave me a hard time and had to bring in a machine to clean the floor.I also noticed that the heel had worn appreciably in that time as well.

This shoe fits well and runs true to size. It isn't special and doesn't seem that resistant to lots of wear, but it is comfortable and looks great.
