For whatever reason the folks at Timberland did not put real rubber on the entire bottom of these shoes. In those areas where the rubber is not real (some sort of softer rubber that is not fit for the soles of shoes) the shoes get worn out very quickly. Again I cannot think of a good reason for not coating the entire bottom of a walking shoe with rubber. WTF amazon. I estimate that these 100 dollar shoes will last 3 months because the tread will wear out quickly on the unprotected portions of the sole (after 1 week I can see the wear). Very disappointed.

Clarks Men's Newby Jump Boot Review

The Clarks Newby Jump is a rugged looking chukka boot. It feels like a more secure and dressier desert boot when walking.

The sizing as expected for Clarks runs large so ignore the equivalent sizing chart at the bottom of the Clarks package box.

I normally take an EU 42, American 9 or UK 8 in most footwear brands but in Clarks I was able to go down half a size to American 8 1/2 and find its perfectly sized as Clarks are very roomy in fit!

There are two things to note about these particular boots they come with an extra set of laces included and one might have to unlace the top eyelet on the boots to get feet in the boots but they feel immediately comfortable thanks to the Clarks removable insole.

Highly recommended as a companion to Clarks versatile classic Desert Boots and with the hard-wearing rubber outsole, one can wear them in wet weather!

Most of the year, I wear Clarks' Desert Boots, but for the winter, I wanted a more substantial boot that I could wear in wet or snowy conditions. Now, I am already a big fan of Clarks shoes and boots and own 5 pairs. It did't take me very long to find the Newby Jump, which is the latest addition to my Clarks collection. After owning this boot for only 3 days, it has already blown me away! The boots were very comfortable right out of the box and provide quite a bit of support for your feet. Compared to the Desert Boot, it feels more like a hiking boot than casual foot wear, which is exactly what I was looking for. I have to admit, though, that I was very hesitant at first to go with the Newby Jump, because I typically choose Clarks' "Beeswax Leather", and I love the look, feel, and durability that this material offers. Now, the Newby Jump only comes in "Cognac" or "Brown" leather, and upon much consideration, I decided to go with the cognac leather. I used a combination of mink oil and brown shoe polish to darken the leather (my personal preference), and I now absolutely love this boot!

I have not tried it out in snow, but I am traveling to Germany for two weeks over Christmas, which will most likely provide me that opportunity. For any questions, please comment on this review, and I will do my best to answer them. Thanks for reading.

First let me say that I have a wide foot.......a solid 6E with 'give' required on the sides. Drew has not been able to accomplish this in this Chinese made shoe, which also lacks any degree of comfort with the padding provided inside the lip and the insole of the shoe. The result has been a nightmare in the form of a pair of shoes. So buy these only if your foot is narrower than mine.

Runs extremely big, I think but then again this is my first purchase for my 13 year old son. I've always loved the "Wallabees" and this color is FIYAH!

Best Deals for Clarks Padmore Casual Boots Gray Mens

I have bought and worn Wallabees for years. I had contacted Clark's to find out the difference between the regular shoe and the Padmore. I was told that the crepe sole on the regular Wallabee was a little softer and provided a little more comfort but otherwise the Padmore was the same shoe. I recently bought a pair in a local store and was very satisfied. So when I saw them in blue suede on the Amazon website, I decided to buy them. When they arrived I was very disappointed. The soles looked very dirty like someone had walked through the dirt in them. The uppers looked ok but offered very little support like a typical Wallabee. They looked like they had been worn and that I had purchased a pair of used shoes. The seller said that was the style and the picture on Amazon showed that the soles were supposed to have a dirty or "vintage" look (But it didn'totherwise I never would have bought them.) They said I could return them but I had to pay the return shipping. Their policy also required that I buy a shipping box from the post office and said not to return them in the box in which they were sent. I was irritated because I had already paid $10 for shipping. I complained to Amazon and was issued a $10 credit but I was still out $8 for the return shipping. I showed my wife the shoes and she agreed that they didn't look good. I also showed the lady at the post office and she commented "Are those new shoes?" She said she didn't know anyone who would want to wear them, not even kids. This was an extremely disappointing transaction. Wallabees are great shoes and I have several pairs. But these shoes sucked!!!

Cheap Clarks Women's Ingalls Nile Boot

I ordered this boot in a 6.5M expecting it too fit me perfectly but, it was too small. The width seemed okay but, the length was too short. I didn't expect that from Clark's because they have always been true to size. I have lots of bendable Clark shoes that fit perfect, so I was extremely disappointed that this boot didn't follow the same sizing. I am frustrated with Clark's right now because their shoes seem to be running small. I decided I didn't love it enough to order it in a 7M. I had to pay shipping to return this boot, so it was not a good purchase!

I have & love many pairs of Clark's shoes & boots, so I felt OK about ordering these online without trying them on. I have a very standard foot (size 9), so usually no trouble getting shoes/boots to fit. I like the looks of these boots, they are cute with both jeans & dress pants at work. However the fit is a little odd. They are much more narrow across the foot and also wider in the heel than Clark's usually run. I need to wear a very thin sock with these, otherwise they are too tight across the ball of the foot. Had I tried them on in a store first I might not have got them, but the price was way better than what Clark's boots normally go for, so I'll keep them for now.
