Despite the opinions of the previous reviewer, these boots are really cute. I've been looking for a moto style boot for a while and after getting these I'm very pleased. I took the time to check the materials before buying so I was fully aware that these boots were faux leather. They are a bit heavy, but I like that about them. True to fit and very cute.

I was SO disappointed with these boots. They were very uncomfortable, but were true to size. They weren't real leather which I expected for the price. Also they looked different in person and weren't as cute. The front part was more narrow than I expected.

Bought these a few months ago. They actually LOOK great -very pleasing design, not too radical -a really good looking Chukka boot. But that's where the good stopped. They're very cheaply made and feel it. Terribly light weight, not at all substantial feeling. Some folks might like that but not me. Leather felt cheap and flimsy and was bending in all the wrong places. Biggest disappointment was the heel counter --just two pieces of leather sewn together. Most really good shoes have an over-lapping piece there for protection. The price on these was way too much for such flimsy construction. Back they went.

I was looking for a pair of low boots tor casual wear, mostly during the winter. I love my rubber LLBean boots, but I wanted something that would breathe. These do very nicely and seem to be holding up well, as I am rough on shoes. They look great with a pair of khakis or jeans -rugged, but nice enough for a casual restaurant or the coffee shop. My one criticism is I wish they were a little narrower.

I am a fan of Chukka boots and this is one of my favorites that I've seen on Amazon. It has a great fit and is very comfortable. It's not often I can order a pair of shoes and the are comfortable from the git-go. More than likely, I will order another pair in a different color.

The boots fit very well and are very light. The problem is that the upper part is thin and rigid with no padding. They dug into my ankles and calves and caused some serious blistering. If fashion is all you are concerned about, then by all means get these boots, but if you are looking for some comfort, look elsewhere. Also, one of the boots had lots glue or adhesive that was not cleaned off the sides of the soles.

This review is for the Palladium Pampa Hi in Sunset.

These boots are light and comfortable. I did not opt for the pre-waterproofed "gusset" model but treated the boots immediately with mink oil. I've since worn the boots in the rain with no leather staining.

The soles of these boots are both grippy and thick and the insole supportive. The leather, though referred to as "sunset" in the description, is a very nice reddish-brown and very close to the picture. One of the side panels on one of the boots seems to be an inferior piece of leather with cracking and odd marks. This is not terribly noticeable unless you're looking at the boots from less than 12 inches away. The cracking may also disappear when re-treated with oil. These boots take on scuffs and marks easily but these, again, may disappear.

These boots are slightly heavier than the Palladium Pallabrouse Baggy boots in canvas I purchased at the same time and very slightly less comfortable. With that said, they are still lighter and more comfortable than any other mid-height leather boot I've owned.

In short, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I will be wearing these for many years to come and would recommend them.

I recently purchased and received these boots in black and I have to say I like them a lot already. They seem to be of good quality materials and are seemly comfortable to wear straight out of the box. They are true to my size and fit me well. I didn't want a full size boot and I didn't want anything too fancy, something in between for working in an office setting. They meet my expectations and hopefully they will last me awhile because I like them. :)

I like the looks of this shoe, which is an updated style over vintage Docs-more business casual than their punky heritage. Docs for grown ups. They run large-half size I'd say. Comfortable out of the box, though materials-particularly the lining-feel a little low cost. I hope they prove durable, but I doubt they'll hold up like older Docs.
