I am very happy with these boots. Normally faux suede boots are thin and flimsy but these boots are warm and durable.

I ordered these boots because I have a large foot (size 9). Most of the time, this style of boot makes my feet look huge. I saw these and thought that maybe the knitted boot topper would be a more flattering look. At first look, the boots look very well made and just as they are pictured. However, they run very small and the soles are super stiff. I could not even get the soles to bend at all and the boot was just terribly uncomfortable. I ended up returning these boots, even though I loved the style, because they were just not wearable at all.

EVERYONE that see me in this boots goes "Aww this are cute!" because THEY ARE! They are perfect, cozy and they're not like other booties that slip on wet floors. There are the perfect bootie for fall & spring!

These boots are pretty great. There are some things that I don't like about them:

1. the crochet part is just attached to the top of the boot, and the part underneath is kinda ugly, so you can really only wear them

the way they are pictured.

2. the sole doesn't have very much tread, so slipping on ice might be an issue

3. when you first put them on it takes a minute to break them in because the sole is really stiff

4. the crochet doesn't stay flared out as shown, it sort of sinks into the crease in the ankle

Even though I don't like the things above, you really can't beat the price and they are super cute. Some people might think are bulky looking, but I actually like that. It makes me feel like a snow bunny!

I love these boots! They are very comfortable and lightweight... I wore them on a night out straight out of the box and they didn't need to break in at all. They are so light they barely feel like I am wearing boots.

I read some other reviews saying the size a little big so I went with the 11-11.5. I usually wear a US 12 and the 11-11.5 fits perfectly.

The color is a little darker than the photos and the toe and heal have a slightly darker stain again. You can kind of see it in the product photo, but you really do notice it more when you see the boots in person. I did a quick video so you can see the color it's shot quickly with my phone so the quality isn';t great but you can see the quality construction and the color shade quite well.

This is my first pair of Lugz, but I'll buy more. The quality is great for the price. The leather holds up great to scuffs and I haven't needed to polish them after wearing for a week. The only thing I might do is put an insole in, like Dr. Sholl's or something.

After years of Timberland leather chukka's, these need some time to adjust to but they are now about $100 lower in price than the Timberland's and that's what shifted me over. For the price, they're decent the sole is a bit thick and clunky, and the leather is a little rough inside. I use with inserts, and mine seems to run about 1/2 size larger than marked. In summary, all fine and a decent value for the price.

These are replacements for a pair of Luggz Chukkas that'd I'd had for years. The original pair was on its second sole and the lining was deteriorating. A new pair was for less expensive than paying for another repair. I've had these for a few months and they are breaking in nicely. Sizing seems true and they are comfortable. I'm retired and no longer need to buy $200 work boots. These provide quite satisfactory service for chores around the house and our acreage. For most purposes, Unless I'm hiking or working on rugged terrain, I prefer chukkas. The height (compared to an oxford) keeps most debris and stickers out, but it's not as confining as a 6" or 8" lace up boot. They don't provide that kind of ankle support, but I didn't buy them for that and they're not designed for that purpose. Given my experience with my first pair, I'm expecting plenty of durable performance out of these..

Boot had to be returned twice due to sizing. Took boot on vacation and had to return to hotel with socks due to boot sizing not being correct. I wear a 10 and boot was 10 but felt like a size 9 or 8. Upon putting the boot on, Material began to crease on top...very bad material. I have wore Timberland Brand boots for years and Quality is Excellent compared to Lugz brand boot. I have never purchased Lugz brand boots and will never after this experience... BAD PURCHASE!

I ordered this for my boyfriend who normally wears a 12.5-13 in Men's. We had to return twicefirst time exchanging a 13 for a 12, then a 12 for a 11. The 11 fits him perfectly and he loves how they look and feel-incredible quality and craftsmanship! I was aware of the reviews that said to size down, but I had ignored that in ordering women's ones for myself and I was gladin women's I found both boots and flats were true to my regular size. My only recommendation for men is to size down at least one size from your regular size in this boot. Otherwise, order away! Fantastic quality from Frye, as usual, and great pricing and service through Amazon!

My feet are fairly average, but I found the shoe to be a bit wide for my feet, length was perfect. A more important concern was the quality of the shoe. I can't picture the sole of these shoes lasting much longer than a couple of months if you were to wear them frequently, it had a spongy almost cardboard like feel. I've been a proud owner of Rockport shoes in the past, but the quality and longevity just weren't there with these shoes.

I was looking for a pair of simply designed chukkas that would not wear out on me in that mater of a year. I'm in it for the long haul. The insole is super comfy and the shoe itself is sturdy as hell. I like how the sole is oil and acid resistant and skip resistant and non marking too! I usually wear an 11, in Vans, Sperry, and Toms but I decided to order a 1/2 size down and I got the 10.5 because all the research I did says that they run a little big. My foot is a standard width so you may want to adjust that accordingly when purchasing but all that aside it is a great shoe. It's a perfect fit for me at 10.5. Money well spent fo sho.
