My Timberland shoes arrived yesterday. I had originally found them on Timberland's website for $185.00. On amazon I saved $50.00. At either price, they are well worth it. As soon as they arrived I put them on and loved the look and the feel. I wore them all day and well into the evening. It's as if they came broken in.

Though I am aware of some of the complaints on sizing, I too at first thought they were a little bit large. I had even called Timberland to inquire about their sizing, measured the length of my foot and sure enough, I was a size 9 on Timberland's chart as well as others. After wearing them for the day I realized that Timberland knew what they were doing. The shoes fit and are comfortable.

I usually don't get excited about a pair of shoes, CD's yes, books yes, but shoes?

Timberland has certainly gained a customer here!

First and foremost, this is a dress boot and not a boot to plod around in the fields all day. That said, I love the soft leather on this boot. The workmanship appears to be very good. Very comfortable shoe, looks great with chinos, jeans or what-have-you. The sole is a bit on the thin side, but if it was any thicker it would really change the look. The only down side is the laces. They are very thin like a dress shoe, but when I say thin, I mean real thin, such that I am looking for a waxed round brown lace 45-48 inches long. Not an easy find.

Fit wise, I usually take an 11 but reading the reviews here and other places indicated you may want to go down 1/2 size. I did and they fit perfect. Going down a half size also worked with my Timberland work boots too..

These are great boots. They look so cute on my daughter. They look more chukka style than the picture shows, but I like that. The only complaint would be that they don't clean up too well, but what suede does? Overall, these were a great purchase.

This is my daughter's favorite shoes. Cute color, runs true to size. Most importantly, it seemed very comfortable, wide (as most child's feet runs wide in front i assume), and keep my little one's feet dry. I really like the sole area. So soft and well made. Perfect shoes for spring, cool summer nights, and autumn (in Mongolia).

My only complaint could be i wish this was waterproof. Other than that PERFECT. Would recommend for every child. Oh by the way, my sister bought this for her girl as well. Now the shipment must be on the way.

These slippers are great. They are very soft and warm. I have only had them about a week so I can't comment on durability yet but for now I love them!

*UPDATE* I changed my number of stars. Well, it has been a little more than a month and they are in the garbage. The sole blew out and they didn't last long at all....I guess it is a case of you get what you pay for. My last slippers lasted four years, these only a month. Guess I'll move on and try something else.

I purchased these slippers for my wife this past Christmas. I specifically chose them over others because of the Isotoner name. After three months of normal wear both slippers are falling apart. The soles have separated from the lining and the seam of the vertical band that wraps around the front of the slipper has cracked. I don't expect slippers to last forever, but three months' use is ridiculous.

Timberland 50061 Newbuck Chukka is the same as this black chukka. This is THE most comfortable and lightweight all around no BS boot I've ever worn. There's no Thinsulate but it is very water "Proof" I'm sure you don't want to walk into a pool with them but again, they are great boots Make sure you get the 50061 they have a lighter sole than the other Timberland boots less "Beefy" I use them for work and for the gym as well. Just all around the best boots I've ever worn. For Deep snow I would say get an 8' at least boot but for hiking, gym, work from CA to NY the 50061 is great. The new buck gets dirty fast so get 2 pair. One for beating on and one for going out "styling" if you will. Again, very light weight, true to size can't beat em for under $100.00. Great for landscaping, hunting, you name it. If you need severe cold weather you may try something with an Insulate if not these are the best boots ever made. The Black model is a different # but exactly the same just in Black Leather.

I read reviews of these before buying this pair I have bought two pairs of Timberland boots before, one pair thats literally lasted app. 20 years with a lot of use, and another pair that only lasted two years. I received these in yesterday, and will update the review if they don't break in well or last. So far my impressions are 1. Accurate to size, 13w, I wear New Balance / Nike wide tennis shoes as additional reference 2. Comfortable, but not cushiony if you know what I mean, I wore them all day yesterday without blisters or sore spots 3. I was expecting non insulated boots, which I got, but these are still warm to hot gussetted tongue and no ventilation means these are not a boot I am looking forward to wearing on a construction site in the middle of a Texas summer. I have received in what I expected, and given Timberlands reputation and my exp I'm giving it 5 stars pending further experience with this pair of boots.

To date if I had to have 1 boot only it would be these in Brown, Black and Newbuck. Oh wait I do LOL. They have a fiberglass shank so they are VERY Light. They are great for farm, hiking and work. Very long lasting and waterproof design. They are very comfortable and are a great value if you can get them for your price. I've had a pair for the farm for 5 seasons and they are going strong. They do run true to size if anything they are 1/2 size over. I'm a 12 and have both 11.5 and 12's. I prefer the 11.5 though not much of a difference. The Nubuck are great but get dirty rally fast so I only use the nubuck for farm work. The Brown and Black are nice for keeping polished.

Try to find laces at your local dollar store. My laces went on the 3rd year. I wish they came in a steel toe. These are the Original timberland old school no nonsense no fluff and very light. One thing they are not anti slip. I would say they are a great casual going out boot for every day, for hiking, or outdoor work. For slippery places try the Carolina brand they are USA Made. These Timberlan unfortunately are made in Taiwan. I'm paying a bit more now for boots buying only USA made like Carolina, Bates and Danner. These are probably the 3 best top of the line boots out there. There are a few other great ones but these are the 3 brands I'm using now. Timberland is a top of the line Commerical boot. Again, Buy USA, and our Japanese Friends as well as Mexico and Canada folks also Germany. I love these boots but after stocking up I'm only buying USA now. Farwell my fine foot friend. Timberland come back home to the USA!!!!!
