The shoes were very comfortable for the first six hours. After that it felt like I was walking on bloody stubs through broken glass. The biggest insult came four days after wearing them when the sole of the shoe literally started ripping apart. I haven't even worn them a week and I'm already having to use Gorilla glue to hold them together. Cheap Chinese construction, hopefully good ole American glue will fix this. However I'm really disappointed because besides it ripping apart, I really do like the shoe otherwise, just needs better construction and really better support for those of us who are on our feet all day.

I'm literally putting pressure on the one boot now so the glue will hold, typing one handed to write this review.

These are nice shoes and provide comfort while I am at work, scuff proof is nice.

Other reviews stated to increase a size because the sizes run small. This is not true. My husband wears an 8 or 8.5 depending on the shoe/boot, so I bought a 9. The 9 was way too big, and I threw out the invoice accidently so I could not send them back for a smaller size. Otherwise, my husband does like the look and feel of the Lugz boot. I had to special order him a thick insole to ensure a more substantial fit. He is pleased, but recommends to order the boot in the wearers actual size, especially if the wearer has a wide foot! I'm a big fan of the Lugz Drifter low. I've also owned the high top version but like the low a lot better. This is my go-to shoe and this is probably the fourth pair I've owned and I will continue to purchase them in the future.

These boots are great for a person that needs a 2E or above wide shoe. These Lugz run wider than the normal boot so if your a 2E width the D width will do. If you find one 2E then you'll have plenty of space for a thermal sock. The downfall to these boots I've notice is if your using them for work expect to replace them in 6-9 months. The inner sole will have to be replace more often as well. They have a workforce model of these which the sole will last a bit longer but its hard to find. I worked in a casino for 2 years and went through 4 pairs just walking and 8 inner soles. Figure if your job has you on your feet for more than 6 hours a day and your work week is five days on them you'll burn right though these a lot better than any walking sneaker I bought. I enjoy these a lot more since I have wide feet and Timberlands are too pricey for my size. I'm wear a size 8 1/2 2E if I were to buy a Tim I would need to get a 9 1/2 Wide (rare) which ranges in the high $160-$200 mark but still need to take to a leather streacher to fit right. I've been lucky to find these under $50-$40 each time I need a new pair. Which makes them a bargin even having to purchase inner soles. Plus, I'm able to buy the right size that fits every time. Another benefit is that they make me an inch taller and help my posture.

Really love the build quality of these boots, but the've been a pain to break in. Boots run small too start out with. I ordered the size 11 because Amazon didn't have a size 10.5 available....and it's a good thing I did! The boots run very tight and will most likely require stretching once received by the buyer. The leather is very stiff and won't "give" enough to mold to one's foot by simply wearing them to break them in. I put on a pair of thick socks, soaked the areas of the footed sock with alcohol that corresponded to the areas of the boots that required stretching, and then put the boots on over those alcohol soaked socks. After wearing the boots around the house for about an hour, the alcohol which had soaked into and softened the leather, began to evaporate. I removed the stretched out boots from my feet and allowed them to dry out for another hour before trying them on for size (with dry socks, of course) and found that the boots now fit comfortably on my feet. I like the boots very much, but it was sure a hassle getting them to fit right.

They are very tight below the laces and very loose at the heel. My heel moved so freely up the back of the boot it was a blister waiting to happen, while at the same time it was pinching the blood flow behind by toes. I am returning them. Sad too, for they are a great looking boot.

I just received my boots yesterday. They are very attractive and so far have been extremely comfortable.I've had trouble with my feet in the past with other shoes and boots, but found these boots to be very comfortable while walking through an airport this morning. Nice thick "cushiony" soles.

real comfortable boot made with high quality materials.Very pleased with them.I bought a size 12m because 11 1/2m wasn't available.the size 12m ran a little larger than other boots I have in the same size.it's been very difficult to find thick cusioned socks in the anklet length. Have been wearing them everyday for a month now and would buy another pair when these wear out.

My first day with these boots I put them on at 4 am work my full shift left and had to move couches and stiff from one house to another than back to the building dept 8:30 pm to 6:30 am and my feet never once were at all discomforted. I have worn them every day now (over a month) at work and they look and feel like new by far the best boots I have ever had on concrete....

I actually love Georgia Boot. I have a pair of boots from them that are excellent, however, I wanted to try these because they look lighter than the ones I already own. The part I did not like and the reason I returned them was that the sole was so stiff I could not believe it (2x4 stiff). The sole didn't give when I walked and so I could not even imagine working in them on concrete for any amount of time. I will say that the upper is a really soft leather that feels great and looks great. I plan on getting the exact type I had which I believe they call them the "Renegade". They are 149 on Amazon and those are some tough, waterproof boots.
