Despite the opinions of the previous reviewer, these boots are really cute. I've been looking for a moto style boot for a while and after getting these I'm very pleased. I took the time to check the materials before buying so I was fully aware that these boots were faux leather. They are a bit heavy, but I like that about them. True to fit and very cute.

I was SO disappointed with these boots. They were very uncomfortable, but were true to size. They weren't real leather which I expected for the price. Also they looked different in person and weren't as cute. The front part was more narrow than I expected.

These are terrible. I have fallen completely out of love with this brand. These boots are in the Cobbler series which are supposed to be of higher, handcrafted quality. I was drooling over these boots for months and thought that they would go with everything. I read the bad reviews and thought that my impression of them would be different because I love rustic. When they arrived, I saw immediately how poor quality they were. I am not exaggerating when I say these are worth $30-$50. They are leather, but terrible design. It's like they skipped important steps in the process. The leather is thin and unlined. The eyelets for the laces are not riveted and one small tug on the laces would rip them right through. The color is a greenish color that doesn't go with anything. The soles are extremely thin and slippery like everyone has said, even on carpet, and the nails do scratch everything. I could imagine these boots completely falling apart after only a few uses. I thought my search for the perfect short lace up boots would never end, but I ended up buying the FRYE Women's Carson Lace Up Boot for less than I paid for these and highly recommend them. The difference is night and day. The Frye boots are comfortable, adorable in person, go with everything, and will last forever. Hope this helps.

I read several reviews for these boots that were not the most encouraging but took a chance and ordered them. The boots are GREAT! I have worn them to work 6 times in the last couple weeks and have no complaints and many compliments. I can't wait to order another pair of Bed Stu shoes.

I ordered these boots on September 22nd. I was very excited about buying them because I really wanted these boots and the price was much cheaper than anywhere else. After a few wears (about 5 times within the month) the sole of one of the boots just opened up completely. Never in my life have I ever had this happen to me. Not even with cheap boots, let alone $200 boots like these. I took the boots to a shoe repair today and they told me that the boots were just made really poorly. In fact, the other boot's sole was about to split open too. After a few wears?!?! I decide to pay for him to re-sole the boots instead of going through the hassle of returning them. $65 dollars extra. Does Amazon not stand by the products they sell? I would like a reimbursement of $65 to pay for the shoe repair bill. I'm sorry but that is just ridiculous! Actually, I'm NOT sorry. I know I didn't pay the full price for the boots, about $200, but if that's how much they go for then they should be made well. They weren't made well and now I'd like the money I spent at the shoe repair. I am super upset about this transaction!

The design of this boot is amazingly stylish, however the color was not close to what i expected to receive. I ordered the boots in blue but recieved a boot that was a pastel lavender type color. I had to take the boots to my shoe shop and have them dyed the color I needed. Now I have no complaints.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. There is literally zero break in time. They fit true to size. They are vintage-y looking and hip at the same time. I love the slight height the wedge heel gives. I have both the tan and gray colors and prefer the tan. I would like the gray better if it were a darker shade.

I'm normally a size 10, but I bought these a half-size up so that I could fit warm socks in them for the winter. They are so comfortable for walking and they look great with pants. I probably wouldn't wear them with a skirt because the boot opening is very large. Overall, an excellent dressy boot for winter.

I liked the look of these Nine West boots but this brand does not always fit me well so I didn't hold out a lot of hope that these would work. I think these boots are a very good value. The leather is very soft and supple and the boots were fairly comfortable upon first wear. I have somewhat wide feet and there is one spot that rubs my toe but because the leather is so soft, it seems to get better each time I wear them. If you are a true medium width I think you will find these extremely comfortable right out of the box.

I ordered these boots in my usual size (7.5) and found them to be a tad generous in the toe area (close to 1/2 an inch of wiggle room for my toe). With thick socks, these boots in black suede were PERFECT leather is incredibly soft and flexible, low heel makes it comfortable to wear these boots all day, and for someone with chronic back pain these boots did little to aggravate my back. Boots are also definitely sexy, versatile, and worth the money.

Very comfortable, look sharp! I wear only solid colors jeans, so black suede looks very clean! On top of it I don't have the straightest legs, so this style work perfect to hide inperfection. The hight of the hill is great! So no leg pail after a long day!

These boots are great, super comfortable, and great for almost all occasions. I got them a couple of days ago and I've worn them twice and both times I got compliments, so I know it's not just me who thinks they're great.

There are a couple of problems that I don't find annoying but someone else might however. The sizes run about half a size too big, so if you wear a size 12 comfortably get the 11.5. Also they scuff really easily right out of the box. Just the laces rubbing against the leather will mark it visibly, and while this is not a big deal if you tend to take good care of your shoes, if you expect them to look great all the time without at least weekly maintenance (depending on how much you wear them) then you will be disappointed. If I were to do it again I would at least oil them as soon as I got them out of the box because the oil will protect them from most water and salt stains (which you get a lot of during the winter).

All in all the negatives aren't very meaningful if you're aware of them going in. These shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, they look great, and you can basically wear them with anything as long as it's not shorts or sweat pants.

First off, like many people have noted already, Timberlands run about a size to a size and a half to large. I wear a 9.5 Addidas running shoe, a 9 Sperrys, and I ordered an 8 for this shoe and it fit perfectly.

Positives:

The shoe itself looks GREAT on your feet. The dark brown looks really nice and really rugged. This goes fantastically with a pair of dark jeans. I've gotten multiple compliments in just a week's wear. Can't really say enough about how great these shoes look.

These shoes are also INSANELY comfortable. With most boots, it takes a couple wears to feel broken into. Not with these. These felt fantastic the moment I put them on. Absolutely 0 foot pain.

Negatives:

These shoes are NOT waterproof. I went the first few days or so without conditioning them or waterproofing them, and they quickly became stained with water marks. Any drop of water on the boot, if you don't wipe it off immediately, will leave a bit of a stain.

Conditioning and waterproofing is a MUST. I personally went to a nearby shoe store and bought Melatonian Mink Oil, which cost $4 and conditioned and waterproofed the shoes to perfection. This also evens out the tone of the shoe and evens out the water stains, making them look much nicer.

Overall, I am very very happy with these shoes, despite the waterproofing issue. Waterproofing and conditioning the leather made these shoes perfect though. Highly recommended!

I usually wear an 8, so I ordered half a size smaller as others recommended. They are still a tad big, but still fit well.

These are really comfortable. I walk up and down stairs all day and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I threw some polish on them and they look fantastic.
