I stumbled upon Keep Shoes a few months back, and while I loved the look and design, I just wasn't ready to drop $75 on a pair. I particularly love the Shaheen, because chukka sneakers are hard to come by for women for whatever reason (big ups to Keep for making all their styles unisex!).

When I saw some styles and colors on Amazon for only 20 bucks, I couldn't resist. The only downside is these sale prices didn't include the styles I really wanted, but nevertheless I got the Shaheen in khakiI wasn't in love with them, but I figured at the price, it couldn't hurt to try them out. I'm typically a size 7.5-8 women's, these shipped like a breeze with Prime and the 8 fit me perfectly.

At first I wasn't too crazy about the look when I put them onI like most of my shoes to have thinner soles/skinnier profiles.

As I've worn them though, they've grown on me immensely.

I've gotten tons of compliments on them, they've held up great to full days of walking around the city (super comfy), and best of allI had no idea when I bought themthey're weatherproof!

I looked at Keep's site and saw that the khaki style is waxed. Clutch.

It's been a wonderful unexpected featureI've ditched my clunky rubber rainboots entirely and have rocked these babies in the rain and snow. My feet are always dry afterwards!

I'm definitely down to buy another pair. Thanks to Keep for making a great shoe!

I'm a Vans person and wanted to try these out. They are great! Light and comfy. Kind of on the expensive side though.

I love the look of this shoe, but having large feet, I had hoped for better in terms of sizing. I ordered a woman's size 11W. It was more like 12 M. There were limited quantities available, so I just returned them. They would have had to have a size 10WWW based on the shoe I tried on, but this size did not exist.

By the way, returning them was made very easy by amazon. Thank you!

I have to say that my previous review was a little hasty and unfair. Has been one week since I have been wearing these boots, and I have to say they are awesome. I said before that the insole was sort of "thick", however I have been using it again and now I feel it much more better, I think the boot is slowly fitting my foot. I can feel them now very comfortable, they are very soft inside and they keep warm my feet, which is great now when it is getting colder. I highly recommend these boots as an alternative to Clarks, however I suggest buy a half size smaller of your regular size.

Just received the shoe today, and my initial impressions are that the shoe seems to be of high quality. It's a soft suede material with a lot of padding around the shoe and a very soft interior. The stitching is all good with no visible issues inside and out. It's very comfortable even without a break in period. I will note that the width is slightly on the narrow side. Not enough to bother me, but if you had a wide foot or a very low or flat arch I could see this shoe bothering you. All in all though I'm pretty happy with it, especially at the price point.

I've worn these every day for the past month. I love them, They sizes do not offer wide, I usually wear a 10, i got a 10.5 and it does the trick. Once they are broken in (took about 4-5 wears), they will be your best friend. They are sturdy, comfortable and a great shoe. I walk a lot for my job ( i do on-site IT, and go from client to client all day long). They are perfect shoes, and something i can see myself wearing for a long time.

I've been wearing these for quite a while now and overall they are very well made and comfortable. I was looking for a shoe that was elegant but not too dressy and this has been a good choice. I'd buy from Red Wing again.
