These boots took about a week to break in, but now fit comfortably. The design is striking without being too "fancy", and the leather doesn't feel cheap. The only concern I have is the inside stitching behind each zipper-some of the threading is a little loose, and I'm afraid I'll have to bring them in within the next six months or so for repair.

These BED:STU Virgo 2 boots are exactly what I was looking for! An ankle (Chelsea) boot, made of soft premium leather, zip-up design (don't like the look of laces or elastic bands on the sides), retro styling with quality craftsmanship (like the leather/rubber combo on the bottom). I ordered true to size; they're slightly narrow/snug, but otherwise a perfect fit. I'll be getting them in black too!

This is my favorite brand of boots. I purchased my first pair (black) at Nordstrom's and was pleasantly surprised to find a brown pair available here on Amazon. It's all about the DUAL ZIPPERS! It makes putting them on so much easier and with my size 13 feet, what a blessing! The leather quality is amazing and they are really comfortable boots! I'm off trying to find more ... just to have a nice stock of the boots when I wear through these two pairs!

I've worn these every day for the past month. I love them, They sizes do not offer wide, I usually wear a 10, i got a 10.5 and it does the trick. Once they are broken in (took about 4-5 wears), they will be your best friend. They are sturdy, comfortable and a great shoe. I walk a lot for my job ( i do on-site IT, and go from client to client all day long). They are perfect shoes, and something i can see myself wearing for a long time.

I've been wearing these for quite a while now and overall they are very well made and comfortable. I was looking for a shoe that was elegant but not too dressy and this has been a good choice. I'd buy from Red Wing again.
