Review of Sorel Men's Chugalug Chukka Boot

I was looking for a pair of low boots tor casual wear, mostly during the winter. I love my rubber LLBean boots, but I wanted something that would breathe. These do very nicely and seem to be holding up well, as I am rough on shoes. They look great with a pair of khakis or jeans -rugged, but nice enough for a casual restaurant or the coffee shop. My one criticism is I wish they were a little narrower.

I am a fan of Chukka boots and this is one of my favorites that I've seen on Amazon. It has a great fit and is very comfortable. It's not often I can order a pair of shoes and the are comfortable from the git-go. More than likely, I will order another pair in a different color.

Besides a little glitch when my husband opened them for Christmas, they were the wrong size in the right size box. Amazon sent the right ones out in 2 days. Great boot, we are both pleased with the service and with the quality of the boot!

Comfortable sole. Colour as described. Unfortunately needed to return as narrow at toe. Normally can wear a B fitting shoe.

Great shoes. They fit lovely and I love the ties. Most boots have zippers so this was a nice change. All my friends tell me how cute they are and how they wish they had a pair. =] Definitely worth a buy!

I was excited to receive my boots, but was disappointed when I put them on and they were too narrow! They are nicely made, but not good for someone with slightly wide feet.

This is a really beautiful looking shoe. Its exactly as it appears on the website.

I saw it for $180 on another website and got it for $125 on Amazon, couldn't be happier.

Now about the shoe:

The sole is really thin, so you will lose precious (I am not 6') few millimeters of your height which you otherwise assume with a regular shoe.

For me the tongue is slightly bothersome; it rubs against my ankle. Its been 6 months and its become better; but has not gone away completely.

And the worst part I was disappointed to see Made in China.

Super high quality leather, amazing style. I am a designer and always look for the stylish pieces and these shoes fit the bill very well.
