The pictures associated with this product made it seem more like a walking boot than what it really is -a nice, somewhat formal boot. The quality is great, but the "formal" aspect includes a slightly pointier toe than I expected, which has led to just a little bit of cramping in my foot. I typically look for a nice wide toe area, and this isn't it. Still a very nice shoe and I look forward to wearing it in a lot more.

I love these shoes so much I got them in the Chocolate suede and the plaid also. They're cute and so comfy. The suede ones are sized larger than the plaid ones. I ordered my usual size (7.5) and they were roomy but not too big. If you're between sizes, I would go for the smaller size with the suede ones.

This is the third pair of these shoes in our family. They are very comfortable and long lasting. I would recommend ordering a half size smaller, as they run large.

This pair of shoes take you back in time with the comfort of a modern shoe. I love the style and I was very happy to see them again, they are amazingly soft for long walks .

Be aware the fit in the back is a little low but if that does not bother you is a great shoe to wear.

I purchased the Hush Puppy Chukka for work and have been happy from the first time I put them on. Comfort, support, durability and that great Chukka Boot look. If they ever wear out.. I will get an other pair!!

I ordered these boots and after trying them on and walking around the house, I returned them. The appearance is great and they look nice on, but when I was walking around they "squeaked" quite noticeably. The fit was about 1/2 size off, so I would order them a little smaller. The boots seem well constructed, and the soles had decent grip to them (compared to other ones I have tried on that were smooth.) Overall not a bad boot, and very comfortable--just not quite "it" for me.

Great shoes! They take 1-2 days to break into, however they are very comfortable once you have worn them in.

The only reason I rated them a 4 instead of a 5 is because I think that the stitch work around the laces could have been done better. But the stitching at the base of the shoe is great.

I think I went through about 8 pairs of chukka style boots on Amazon from inexpensive to very expensive and ended up keeping the Born Harrison's. Either the fit was wrong, the soles squeaked or were made of a composite rubber that crumbled quickly and last but not least, were just so uncomfortable I could not wear them.

Not so with the Born Harrison's. I would say order a 1/2 size down, instead of a full size. I am a 9.5, tried the 8.5 (too small), but a 9 fit me perfectly. Overall the chukka is well constructed and looks nice either dressed up or with a pair of jeans. The sole is solid rubber, that does not squeak and the tred is low profile enough not to be noticed at all. As for comfort, I am amazed as I normally order high end inner soles (see my other reviews) for almost every pair of shoes I own and just assumed the same would be the case here. However, I put them on and have not even thought about inner soles. They are that comfortable. Also, there was zero break in period, I have been wearing them since I arrived with no foot, leg or knee pain in the slightest.

My husband loves these boots! Comfortable enough to wear everyday, all day. He has to be really particular about shoes because of terrible eczema on his feet, and the leather lining in these boots causes no irritation whatsoever.

I should have listened to others about the sizing. I have wide feet and normally wear a 9 1/2 but I could easily wear a 9 in these shoes. I have worn these about 20 days at this point and they are very comfortable. I would buy these again assuming they last a reasonable amount of time.
