I love these shoes so much I got them in the Chocolate suede and the plaid also. They're cute and so comfy. The suede ones are sized larger than the plaid ones. I ordered my usual size (7.5) and they were roomy but not too big. If you're between sizes, I would go for the smaller size with the suede ones.

This is the third pair of these shoes in our family. They are very comfortable and long lasting. I would recommend ordering a half size smaller, as they run large.

This pair of shoes take you back in time with the comfort of a modern shoe. I love the style and I was very happy to see them again, they are amazingly soft for long walks .

Be aware the fit in the back is a little low but if that does not bother you is a great shoe to wear.

Love the classic look of this shoe, fits perfect. It's getting a little loose as I wear it, though, so I need to change the padding perhaps. But it's still a great shoe.

I'vr had these shoes for more than two years now and they still look, feel and wear great. No, I don't wear them everyday and I don't wear them in the winter (I live in Chicago) but all spring and summer with khakis and jeans as well as in the fall with cords and they go well with each type of pant style. I get compliments on them all the time and I know when I wear them they'll look great. Recently purchased same shoe in another color for some change of pace and I know they'll wear just as nicely as these have.

They fit true to size and color is correct to pictures.

I remember wearing these years ago when they only came in white/black and were called "Archie" shoes since Archie wore them in the comic books. Although the fit was somewhat narrow I took a chance and ordered a 7.5 which was ok but I won't be able to wear a really thick sock with it. The shoe is light weight, and what's not to like about the cream color with red? this shoe can be dressed up or down, is comfortable, stylish, and has become a conversation piece when others from my generation (I'm proudly 60) see them. I look forward to getting all the colors! Well done G.H. Bass for continuing to make this updated classic and KUDOS to Amazon for carrying them!

Cheap Generic Surplus Men's Dom Chukka

I loved the way these shoes looked and fit for the first year of use. In that time, I wore them sparingly. I have poorly formed arches, so most shoes do not feel this comfortable out of the box. The look and fit were perfect.

But, as I began to wear the shoes more at my new job a couple times a week, I noticed the shoes do not breathe well. The wool is lined on the inside, and if your foot is trapped in there for 8 hours straight, you are guaranteed to sweat. This eventually led to predictable problems such as odor, discomfort on my feet, etc. In the end, I had to banish these much loved shoes.

Even since I went into college, I fall in love with Chukka boot.

I had a very good experience with Generic Surplus, that I had one of their Chukka (which they stop selling) for over like 5 years. That one getting torn down, therefore, I was looking for a replacement for that.

This Chukka comes as a perfect replacement. The color are great for both casual or formal. It can fit both jeans or dress pants. And it's pretty comfort inside. Got it for about half a hundred, looking forward for it to last a few years based on the experience I had with previous Generic surplus product.

Consider it if you love Chukka boot like me

I like the style and leather but I'm not sure about the soles because I haven't worn them out yet.I believe they fit just a little big but that may be remedied with a insole insert.

The leather on this boot is very cheap and thin. The Bristole isn't the most comfortable boot either. Overall just a cheap boot. We all know you get what you pay for and Steve Madden products are relatively cheap. That being said, I have three pairs of Steve Madden shoes and the Bristole was my fourth purchase from the company. I love my other three pairs and wear them all the time. It's a little bit of a crap shoot with their products so just beware.
