I own 4 pairs of the Maui Moc slippers and love them because they are so comfortable but way too casual for the office. I just found these Maui Walking shoes which are almost identical but come in a nice leather which is acceptable for work (at least to me). They do have a wide toe box so they may fit big if you have narrow feet, but for my fairly flat feet they fit perfect.

I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 regular shoe and I ordered the 10.5 in these and they are perfect. They are sooo light you almost forget you are wearing them. They are a bit pricey, but all Patagonia stuff seems to be but money well spent in my opinion.

fit on this shoe is good, not to loose or tight. I like the finish of the leather, it sheds water and breaks in well.

I have bought this brand over the years. Still a comfortable fit without sacrificing style.

Only complaint is that when the product is posted, its origin should be listed (Made in ....). Reason being that the quality of the leather differs depending on the country of manufacture.

John Varvatos Men's Barrett Wide Boot Review

The color of these boots in the picture is a light brown, however they are more of a grey, i.e. "wet slate," and I would not use a brown polish as it wouldn't match. I used saddle soap to add a bit of shine as I don't know of a polish that would compliment these boots. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I ordered these in size 11. I have a wide foot, and while i ordered a D(M) size, they do run a bit wider. So they are true to their "Barret WIDE Boot" product name.

After wearing them for a day I noticed how broken-in and pliable the leather felt. Overall very comfortable.

I recommend these, they reflect well on JV footwear. I'll be buying more JV in the future, providing these hold up well.
