The only drawback is that they are very difficult to be put on. I have a thin leg but however I have problems. It is nearly impossible to add a thick sock, it makes it impossible to get the leg in...But after that, they keep very very warm, are waterproof and look fantastic.

The North Face Women's Abby Chukka Lifestyle Insulated Boot Review
I just love these boots in every way: they're pretty, warm, seem relatively waterproof...and would make my size 11 foot look small....if only I could get into them! It was IMPOSSIBLE for me to get either of my feet into the boots, so with much regret, I must return them. Better luck to another!

Best Johnston & Murphy Men's Runnell Chukka Boot Deals
I bought this shoe couple months back and have been using it since. It is a very comfortable shoe. You can wear it for hours and still feel comfortable.
I also want to commend J&M for awesome customer service. Last week I went into one of their stores in Houston to show them a very small section where shoe leather was not very well stuck to the shoe sole. The gentleman at the store inspected it and without asking even a single question he gave me a new pair of shoes. He did not ask me when i bought it, where i bought it from and where my receipt was?
Now that is called customer service. I guess now I am a J&M fan for life.
Pros:
1. The leather is extremely soft and supple. I've never owned leather shoes with leather THIS soft.
2. Great shock absorption and cushioning. The sole is extremely flexible, but surprisingly provides arch support. I have flat feet and need good arch support, and this shoe provides it despite the soft sole.
3. I receive compliments on the shoe. It's casual enough to wear every day, but stylish enough for lounges/clubs/restaurants. It's a mix of professional and casual. Looks good in any situation.
4. The laces are fantastic, and stay put all day long. Easy to lace as well. Don't know why, but one side always works itself longer which is a little annoying.
Cons:
1. Might not be a true con, but the leather "scratches" or "distresses" easily. First time I wore them, all I did was drive somewhere, and when I came out of the car there were two big lighter color distress marks on the inside of the toebox (from the pedals I guess). I am saying this may not be a real con as some people might consider this stylish, and it gives the shoes character. My gf at the time said it made the shoes look better. The guy at the JM store demonstrated how if you rub a little shoe oil on it, it makes the marks go away. So it is fixable.
2. The bottom of the sole will turn black, and 1mm of the sides on the bottom will look black. The sole also has a tendency to shed some of the rubber like hairs. Again, not a big deal.
3. I wear an 11.5, and bought an 11.5. The fit is good imo (I like a little room), but several people have told me the shoes look TOO big for me. I suppose it is true while the fit is good, the elongated toebox makes the shoes alittle clownish. It's a matter of personal opinion but I don't mind.

Extremely comfortable boot, and stylish too! I've been wearing these for months now and really like them. The only thing that might keep me from buying another pair from J&M is the fact these are made in China.Best Deals for Johnston & Murphy Men's Runnell Chukka Boot
I really do like these boots. They go great with jeans. Mine have held up reasonably well, but I don't think this particular model of boot is as good of quality as many other johnston & murphy products. Regardless, I still like the boots a lot and I highly recommend them.Honest reviews on Johnston & Murphy Men's Runnell Chukka Boot
The shoes were a gift for my son and they were absolutely awesome looking. He says extremely comfortable and he really likes them. They go with jeans and can even were with dressy pair of dockers.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Johnston & Murphy Men's Runnell Chukka Boot
