The shoe is the most beautiful and classy one that i bought in years. They look great on the feet and It's very confortable. Hope Amazon get more steve madden's on my size. I did a mistake, because I went in the steve madden's web site and look the size chart, in there, all the sizes were with different measures compared with others brands, so I always wear 14 and decided to buy a 15, trying to follow the steve madden chart. It got a bit loose and because i bought from Brasil and have a few import fee issues i decided to keep it, but it's working great. So my advise is, if you wear a number in others brands, buy the same number. Don't look the steve madden size chart.

The lady at the store told me these shoes were excellent if you have hip or knee problems (which I occasionally do). I thought yeah, yeah. I was buying them because they are cute. Well, what a serendipity. They are sooooo comfortable, my hip stopped burning and they really are cute. I'm on my second pair! The only downside is you won't want to wear any other shoe.

I bought these 1/2 size larger for my son, but even larger they don't fit well. My husband and younger son have smaller feet, so I had them try them on. My husband wears a 9 1/2, I bought a 11. My younger son wears the same 9 1/2, he took them and said they fit him. He wore them and had blisters above the heel, where the top of the shoe rested when he walked. I had to by lifts to put in the shoes and keep his heel above the area that was blistered from the shoes. I shouldn't have bought a pair of shoes that would break their feet into the shoe, but the other way around. My sons and husband loves Jambu shoes, own 6 pairs so far. But, these shoes are not up to their standard..

we received these a week ago and needed to return them for an exchange since the shoes run small. Be mindful that even tough the manufacturer states that they run true to size, you still would need to order at least a half size larger for these shoes.

Almost didn't order these after reading other reviews, but glad I did! These are wonderful booties! The material is nice, the quality is good. The soles are a little slippery but are fine once worn on pavement a few times! Going to order another pair in taupe!!

I have searched high and low for a well made boot that I can resole and keep for a long time. I want the leather to wear in and develop a nice patina, even with polishing (this requires a full grain leather, which costs more). I want comfort, especially living in the city and doing a lot of walking. I wanted a great look that I could wear both on the weekend and in the office.

I did NOT want your hipster Americana cuff my selvedge denim and let my boots get all scuffed up so people think I make things in a machine shop look.

This fit the bill on all fronts. High quality leather with the toe slightly burnished to give it some character out of the box. The leather has been breaking in very well and with some polish + care will last a while. I've polished it only once so far and it is looking good.

It's comfortable. I can walk 3-4 miles a day in NYC and not have my feet feel tired at all. In fact, they feel great, especially compared to some other boots I've owned (John Varvatos, I'm looking at you... the name "hipster chukka" should've had me running, but I went against my better judgment). It's also breathable (thank you full grain leather) so your feet won't funk up.

The Vibram sole is holding up surprisingly well. I went through the first set of combat boots with Vibram sole and those things disintegrated in no time at all. I was hesitant about the sole, but so far it has held up VERY well.

Style is awesome. I can wear with chinos or dark jeans and it looks good. I wear it to the office no problem. I can wear more casually on the weekend and it also fits in. I get lots of compliments on these bad boys.

The fit runs a bit large. I normally wear a 9.5 and the size 9 is perfect with slightly thicker dress socks.

The only thing I have yet to figure out is how to put these on without a shoe horn. There are laces... there is a zipper... but somehow I have to undo all of it and use a shoe horn to get my foot in there, unless I want to wear out the heel leather by stomping on it. Anyway, small gripe. If you take your shoes on/off at the door you may want to think twice, but if you are on the move and keep your boots on all day this is not a big deal.

If you are looking for a nicer, high quality boot that is extremely versatile and don't want to veer off into $300 Red Wing/Wolverine land, this is the boot to get.

These are great-looking, versatile, well-made boots, but my size 15s were very long in the toe, though they fit very comfortably in the heel and around the foot. I wear 15s regularly, but I ended up returning them and trying size 14s, which are snug (though by no means uncomfortable), and look a lot less clown-y. I think this long toe thing is a common issue with Timberland, though I think just for larger sizes.

P.S. EXCELLENT return policy!!! Completely easy and convenient.

These boots are very stylish and comfortable. They run large. I bought size 10 which I normally wear and they were much too big. I put insoles inside and now they fit me like a glove! If you are in a market for classy and stylish boots, here you found them. Highly recomended!

These boots are comfortable right out of the box! Other reviewers have commented about sizing. i wear a 10.5 for some brands, an 11 in others. I got at 10.5 and it's perfect!

The color has a nice aged patina. They go with everything from dress slacks to jeans. I throw a good natural (clear)polish on to help with water, and off you go.

I'd recommend them, and might grab them again in the future if available!

My son is almost 6 and we have been buying these shoes for the past three years. You can dress them up with khakis or can dress them down with jeans. They hold up superbly well and last the entire fall and winter seasons. My husband keeps them polished nicely with leather cleaner. In fact, by the time my son outgrows them, they are still in great enough shape to be passed on to a consignment shop where they do not sit on the shelf long. They are a bit pricey, but are extremely worth every cent.

This shoe is incredible. It is EXTREMELY comfortable and fits the way it should. I always have trouble finding shoes that fit me because as an adult I have really small feet, but this shoe was exactly what I was looking for. The boots are what I expected and inner sole is cushioned comfortable. Only negative I have is the cut of the boot is a little low does rub my cafes (I have large cafes) when walking great distances. These are nice designed dress boots that are water proof. I am going to test them in the snow (while on vacation)tomorrow. The rubber soles should do well on ice and snow (will see).

Just what I wanted in a pair of shoes.

-Easy slip-on design

-Great looking

-Extremely lite

-Waterproof

-Great quality material as I have no visual creases and scuffs and such. I guess its soft leather but of high quality. And yes I do wear these on a daily basis.

Cons:

-Well I do find these very comfy, BUT when standing in one spot for a very long time (like I do when riding the trains in NYC) my feet start to hurt. But when I am in motion walking (and I walk a lot) I have no problem with its comfort level.

If you are going to walk around in light rain from the parking lot to the office, they might be classfied as "waterproof". But for those of us who have to walk a few blocks, this is most definitely not waterproof. I live in new york. I walk to work. Most rainy days, the sidewalk drainage is blocked by leaves and/or garbage, so you have to go out of your way to avoid puddles. I figured with this boot I could take that in stride.

Apparently not. The problem seems to be in the toes. The heel and zipper are fine. I guess the water comes in through the seams on the top of the shoe.
