i was hesitant on buying these since i had not tried them on and hadn't seen them in person. these boots are amazing. i put them on and loved the way that they felt immediately. so comfortable that i forgot i was wearing them a couple times. i highly recommend these boots. they work well on the trails hiking and make a great transition to the city. i do both everyday and these are perfect. little expensive but i would have paid $200 for these. this is one of those cases in which you get what you pay for.
reviews that i found on patagonia footwear all say that they run a half size bigger. not the case for these. i ordered a 11.5 instead of an 11 and had to return them so keep that in mind.

This is my second pair. I still have the first pair and wear those all the time. They are so comfortable that I was afraid that when my current pair wore out the shoe would be discontinued, as is sometimes done for no apparant reason. So I ordered a second pair as a back up.
