I just received these in the mail. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on..however, they look a little different than pictured. They don't have the rubber sole that is shown. Instead they dont have any sole. I wanted to wear them out, however, I probably shouldn't because water or dirt will seep in through the bottoms. That is the only negative thing. Overall they are very comfortable and look cute. I wouldn't buy these though if you are thinking about wearing these outdoors often. They are more for indoors.

As someone else noted on another "Soft Sole" type, the moccasins need to be seasoned!!! I have another style of soft bottom that I've been wearing for over 15 years that I wear outside all the time! Not a problem in a light rain. Once the bottem's get a slick glossy look to them, they can even take some snow. I love to wear them when we go hiking and rock climbing at Natural Bridge. Walking a lot in the grass will help season them.

True, these are the throwback moccasin, just what I was looking for on here. But, order larger bc they are made to fit snug. Also, these have the padded sole insert GLUED to the inside of the moccasin, therefore you Cannot take it out and have the true throwback feeling of nothing but the leather between your foot and the ground. I had been looking for a pair like that for a long time and thought that these were it. I used to wear a pair just like this everywhere, but for the rubber insert, this is what I wanted.

These softsoles take me back to the 70's. Everyone was wearing them. They are still as comfortable as they were back then. The only thing that would make them better is if they were also made with a rubber sole so they could be worn in or out regardless of the weather.

I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly. I usually purcahse 9 1/2 but 9 fits me much better in Minnetonka. They are narrow but not short. I have several pairs of Minnetonkas by now, but these are like magic shoes. My feet feel the ground. I am a practicing Buddhist and do some walking exercises. These shoes are amazing. I have had some balance problems, and wearing Minnetonkas has improved my balance and safety greatly. Also these style makes my feet look tiny!

These are well made stylish shoes. I like them a lot. Important note -I take a size 10M. Over the past few years, I have noted that virtually all shoe manufacturers are using narrow and smaller lasts to save money on material. It's just about everyone. So now I need to buy a size 11 to get the proper fit.

Discount Timberland Mens Earthkeepers Chukka Boot

As usual, you can NEVER go wrong with boots from Timberland. The comfort is simply top-notch, and you can just tell that the construction is rock-solid.

I guess the only thing you might wanna watch out for is that these boots are slightly narrower than the usuals. I usually wear a 10.5, and they always fit nicely with a little bit of spare room. For this it was actually kinda tight on the sides. But I figured at this unbelievable price ($61), incredibly quality and the fact that leather shoes will stretch out a little, I'm keeping it.

Oh did I mention this boots look incredibly good? I really really like it.

Timberland earth keepers are very comfortable and true to size. Not sure but I don't think they are good in cold weather.
