I ordered a pair of these in chocolate brown and have been wearing them for a week. Here are my observations so far:

Pros:

VERY comfortable. I work in retail and for the first time ever my feet don't hurt after a full shift. The leather is very soft and flexible but maintains shape well.

-Great looking

I've gotten numerous compliments on these boots and have found them to pair perfectly with slacks as well as jeans.

Cons:

They do seem to be around 1/2 size larger than marked, so be aware.

-The laces are ridiculously long for boots with only two eyelets, but they are good quality.

Overall I'm completely satisfied and very glad I bought these boots. If you're on the fence then definitely buy them.

If you like Rockports like I do, you will love these boots. They offer style and my feet love them. Blue is my favorite color and these boots look good with most of my cloths.

These shoes are amazingly comfy shoes, right out of the box. They also look great with almost any pair of jeans, especially boot cut. I treated the suade overnight, right after I got them to ensure a long life of looking fresh. Have had them almost a year now and they look brand new!

Nice boots but the sizing was off by a couple of sizes, the width was at least two widths too wide. The width was marked as a narrow, but the actual width had to be a wide width. I wish they would have fit. Beware of wrong sizing........

Rockport has always had a good product. This shoe is no exception. Order process and shipping as expected. Have al;ready worn them in rain and snow. Wipe them off and they are ready to go.

These boots are a little stiff and very narrow at the heel. Also do not like the heel. I have other boots with this height heel, but these feel very flat for some reason. I do have a high arch though.

Unforunately I have very high arches, and had to use knee high hose to get them on. They are also fit narrow, so were very uncomfortable. I bought them with hopes of wearing thick socks for winter warmth. The B width is misleading and fit more like a AA.. I had to return them. The return went smoothly. I would reccomend these to women with a narrow foot and order one size up.

I like these boots. I ordered the acid black color and I expected them to be more black, but it's actually more like a silver color. The boot leather is worn/roughed up a little, but it doesn't look bad. I have arthritis (but I'm in my 20's) so really depend on comfortable shoes, but I like to be stylish. These boots are comfortable. They aren't warm at all, but that's what socks are for. I'm not sure if they're waterproof but I wouldn't risk wearing these in a downpour or a snowstorm. Overall, I'm pleased. I also like that I can tuck in my pants or wear my pants over the boot. They're the perfect height. Also, my 3 year old likes that they make noise when I walk :)

Chaco Men's Otis Vibram Burly Casual Boots Review

Made in China. The heavy contour of the Chaco sandal is replaced with a more reduced platform in this shoe. For my own fit and feel the arch support seems to be more to the rear on these shoes. Its doable for me. The sole has a thick rear and forefoot providing good support if it fits your foot. The leather is classic chucka design single leather(desert boot). I found the heal a bit narrow to start but over time it widen to my foot. The toe box is reasonable, similar to a Merrell, not as roomy as a Keen.

this vendor ships by truck; 'Z' company ships air. These are different than previous Chaco shoes in that they are 1.) MADE IN CHINA. 2.) They have a sock liner and 3.) They are a different shape. They seem to fit my rather wide feet OK but I may need to put my orthotics in them. Previous Chacos have not required orthotics for me, that's why I like them. Time will tell on these...

10/11 update: Update to 5 stars. These are now my favorite shoes. Even though the shape is not the classic Chaco shape, they fit fine and I don't need to wear my orthotics in them!

I don't wear any shoe other than Chaco now. I own 5 pair and really love them. I usually wear a 8 1/2 w . A size 9 M fits great. I do wear a heel pad in mine the arch is a little much for me. Wear like iron. I will buy again. I have 2 pairs of Keens but keep them just for yard work and kicking.

Fits nicely, and the support is terrific. If you need to do a lot of walking and/or be on your feet a great deal try this shoe. And the price here was great.

nice looking, warm boot that seems to be well constructed. I love the look of the boot and the color is what I wanted. The only concern is that it does not clean up well and shows minor dirt and scuffs.

When I got these boots, I was surprised how light they were. They are very comfortable to walk in, and look good for work or casual events. The one concern i have is with the leather. After wearing a week of use I've noticed the leather is fading/weakening. I've applied some leather conditioner and hopefully that will help it. If, the durability holds up, these I would give it 5 stars. Because everything else about these are great.
