I already own two pairs of Cole Haan shoes in size 11 and love them. I thought it would be safe buying on-line in that same size.............wrong. They are at least a half size too small. Thought I could wear them in but it's not happening.

I loved the neon orange laces that came with this, it was a pleasant surprise. It gave this a fresh modern look.

It's a beautiful shoe, got compliments from friends. Not as comfortable as my other rubber soled Cole Haan or Ecco's though. Not for long walks. But I expected it from the sole, it seems more durable as my friend told me his rubber soled CH's crumble after some time in our hot humid weather. Hope it lasts.

Oh and the sole is kinda noisy on my office floor too, compared to rubber soles. I couldn't sneak up on my employees to see if they are working or not.

I read in a review that this shoe isn't the usual CH size, so I ordered half a size bigger. Hmm, shouldn't have listened and stayed with my size 10, but no biggie, still fits.

These boots are a little stiff and very narrow at the heel. Also do not like the heel. I have other boots with this height heel, but these feel very flat for some reason. I do have a high arch though.

Unforunately I have very high arches, and had to use knee high hose to get them on. They are also fit narrow, so were very uncomfortable. I bought them with hopes of wearing thick socks for winter warmth. The B width is misleading and fit more like a AA.. I had to return them. The return went smoothly. I would reccomend these to women with a narrow foot and order one size up.

I like these boots. I ordered the acid black color and I expected them to be more black, but it's actually more like a silver color. The boot leather is worn/roughed up a little, but it doesn't look bad. I have arthritis (but I'm in my 20's) so really depend on comfortable shoes, but I like to be stylish. These boots are comfortable. They aren't warm at all, but that's what socks are for. I'm not sure if they're waterproof but I wouldn't risk wearing these in a downpour or a snowstorm. Overall, I'm pleased. I also like that I can tuck in my pants or wear my pants over the boot. They're the perfect height. Also, my 3 year old likes that they make noise when I walk :)

This shoe is very comfortable and very much in style! However, just a word of caution to POLO and new buyers, there has to be a careful review of the shoes coloring since my right shoe was what I expected, Ash Grey, but the left was a lighter grey so the colors did not match (the dyeing process could have been out of whack). I'm going to return them and then request a new pair to be sent out and I hope they both match perfectly!

This is a nice chukka sneaker which a change from the traditional low top version of this shoe. I bought the ash grey version of this shoe in size 11. Take note that this is a suede chukka not a canvas chukka as there is another version of the Zale chukka available. If ordering online I suggest ordering your true size first. The leather laces are a nice touch, something different than the fabric laces most shoes have. A common problem people have said on other sites, myself included, is shedding of the laces onto the shoe after some time, however I feel this is not something new for leather laces. I have paired this with jeans and they look great. Quality wise they are still holding up after a few months of use.

I am a woman, and my usual shoe size is 8.5 Medium to 9 Medium. This appears to have translated to a size 6 Junior, or a "Big Kid" as they like to call it on Amazon.

There is a label inside that gives you a quick conversion, and size 6 Junior equals US 6, UK 5.5, EU 39, JP 24, and CN 240.

I went by the Euro size 39 which, in most conversion tables, translates to an 8.5 women's, and how the shoes felt on, and they fit wonderfully with enough room in toe box for a nice Smartwool sock. They do not pinch anywhere, no pressure spots (so far), and no slippage at the heel, which makes me very happy as I have narrow-ish heels and my feet are generally Medium, bordering on Wide but not quite there yet.

The shoes themselves are of good quality, sturdy yet not a heavy "work boot" look, and quite light weight-wise. The leather is thick but soft, and the maple and vanilla colors play so well together! The color is not as yellow / deerskin as it shows in the photo. It is darker, more honey / maple.

The overall finishing is quite meticulous, too. The front and back plaques as not metal; they look metal-like, but they are some kind of pliable plastic. The rivets not sure; they might be metal, but I can't really tell. The laces are quite pretty with a snake weave of golden and cream thread, and they a little stiff. I thought they might not stay tied, and will keep coming undone but, actually, it has not been a problem at all.

The sole is cream colored, and "Non Marking". The thread is quite substantial, so the boots might be good in winter (I live in Canada, and it's the end of September, so no snow yet). The only thing I'm not crazy about is the sole is glued, not sewn, to the shoe. There is a machine imprint of sewing but no actual thread involved, just a pattern for finishing touch.

One more thing: the arch support... Not a whole lot of it here. There is an attempt at arch support in the insole (removable), but I would not call it arch support. I swapped the insoles for my custom ones that have a lot of arch support, and this seems to work fine.

The shoes are not heavy; my size 6 (8.5 women's) pair weights 29.6 oz.

They might be rugged but they are not some heavy clunkers! I will be wearing mine as a casual, daily boot, as they do look quite awesome paired with a pair of cigarette jeans, or cargo shorts. So far, I am very happy with my purchase.
