I probably have owned a dozen pairs of boots from Bed Stu. In my opinion, they make the best quality, still reasonably priced upscale casual boot that looks and feels handcrafted. This boot does not disappoint. It does have a rubber bottom, but looks from the side like leather. I do prefer the real leather bottoms, but understand the limitations of that.
The stitching on these boots is just unbelievable. Makes the boots look like they should cost 500-1000. It's subtle enough for jeans at the office, and edgy enough for a night on the town. The side zip faces to the in, and allows you to get into and out of the boots in 5 seconds... no tying or having your boots come untied.
Probably my favorite pair of Bed Stu boots I've ever owned. Buy with confidence. You'll love these.

Normally I wear a boot that's 11.5W for all boot types, including all of my military boots. The boots were whole sizes and no wides available. Otherwise the boots look great and fit great, very comfortable too.
