Husband wears this boot out in the field working fencing, barns & clearing trails. Often wet & boggy conditions in spring & fall. Boots deliver waterproof, tough & ankle stability in high boot for this type of working conditions. The insole seems a little thin, I got him workshoe insoles at Walmart & they have more cushioning now. Good Boot will buy again.

The boots are very attractive. The leather is soft and supple, and they appear well made. I was looking for boots I could wear in winter to help protect from the cold with an extra pair of socks on, as I work on a college campus, and walk from building to building. These didn't work for that purpose. They are one thin layer of leather, no lining, no cushion at the collar, very thin and not at all cushy insole. In short, not cold hardy at all (isn't that what boots are for?), and way too tight fitting, even on my very thin feet, to add an extra pair of socks. They would work, however, for warmer weather wear because they are so un-insulated. A word of caution, though, the insole is very thin and not cushy, so if you do a lot of walking, these may not be a good choice.

These shoes look great, they are a bit lighter than in the picture but still good looking. They are super comfy to walk around or stand in all day. I'm on my feet all day because i work in a shop and my feet never hurt in these. I like that the toe came with a "worn" finish on it, but it's kind of wearing back off (I know that sounds weird). I love the zipper for easy in and out. I highly recommend!

I find that these run a tad large. I wear 10-10.5 normally, I bought the 10 and there is lots of space for my toes. Not so big that I'll send them back, but there's space for thick socks in there.

I really loved the look of these boots but had to return them, they were too tight across my instep. I ware inserts in my shoes these boots have removable insoles, taking them out and replacing them with my custom inserts did not help. I gave them 4 stars because they are nice looking seem to be made well and I believe that they could be comfortable, just not for me.

This is a well made and stylish shoe. It fits true to size, has plenty of room in the toe area and is comfortable for a long day. Clearly this is a "fashion boot" rather than a winter boot. I have enough room in mine to wear a thicker sock but the shoe itself is not lined or waterproofed in any way. The zipper is more of an appearance detail rather than an alternative to tying and untying the laces.

BEWARE IF ORDERING IN BROWN: I ordered the Brown version of this shoe and was sent Coffee Bean. I did not return it because I suspect they are really one and the same. If you look at the current pictures on the Amazon product page you'll see brown, coffee bean and coffee bean leather. The same picture is used for brown and coffee bean. The shoe I was sent was identical to the coffee bean leather picture which was much lighter that I was hoping for. I thought I could darken it with brown shoe polish which made a mess of things so I can't return them now.

The pictures also suggest there is a black and a black leather as two different options. Hard to say if those are really different or not.

I orderd these ankle boots and loved them when I opened the box. BUT the heel area is way to big and my foot was slidding up and down blister maker in process. I even tried thick socks not a wonderful choise for summer but gave it at try anyway. Shoes still way to big. If you have a wide heel area on your foot these shoes would be great for you. But if your heel is narrow like mine not a good fit at all. The shoes run big in all areas so do not order a 1/2 size bigger, if you wear a 9 order a 9 but only if you have a thick heel. I hate they didn't work for me, I was really looking forward to wearing them. Maybe the next pair will work.

I have had this shoe for about 3 months now and overall it is a good shoe. The shoe is VERY flexible, nearly comparable to a "nike free" shoe. It is a light weight shoe and holds up pretty well in the rain. Because this shoe is in fact light and flexible, it could be looked at first glance out of the box as cheap. With that said the actual materials it is made with inside and out, feel very sturdy. I have to wear higher socks with these because the back of the shoe rubbed on my ankle and that was unpleasant. A long sock solved the problem though. If you can find the leather chukka at a discounted price or if you have money to spend, it is a good buy!

These fleece-lined chukkas are waterproof, stylish and warm...perfect from fall to early spring for any casual occasion. I ordered the 10.5 D as advertised but it ended up being an 11.5 but fit with an insold -make sure you order the right size!

Clarks tend to run about .5 a size big, so I got these in a 9.5 and they fit like a glove. Awesome looking boot clean and minimalist look. Very comfortable.

Love this shoe. The most comfortable shoe I own. Soles will wear faster due to the material so tread lightly (I have mine for a while and they are still in good shape). These are not waterproof so feet will get wet in rain.

Purchased these True Religion for the coming fall/winter season and i got the black color. I been wearing these for a few weeks now and really like them. Sizing is apparently right on the money; I was able to wear them all day, right out of the box with no 'breaking in' time. Seem really sturdy. Decent looking shoe, great price and the side belt buckle really adds that extra "fashion" edge when i wear it with jeans. Shipping was very fast from amazon 2-3 days.

Got these to wear while riding and quickly switched to a pair of boots from Xelement. These were listed as "boots" but are really more like leather shoes. They look ok, but the chore of putting them on and taking them off quickly wore out their welcome in my lineup. They fit a little small and after long rides my feet would be dying to get them off. The cheesy leather tongues would never sit flat and often cause uncomfortable wrinkles to press against my foot (which is by far my biggest complaint against these shoes.) I spent a lot of time unlacing them to flatten out the tongues as much as possible then lacing them back up. The buckles are also a source of frustration, the holes and pins are very tiny and require a fair amount of dexterity and concentration ( or in my case several tries.) I think it would have been better to go with a larger single pin. The rubber soles are thicker then most shoes but not as thick as most boots and are also not as ridged as most motorcycle boots.
