These are cute and comfortable. They are easy to get on and take off. I ordered my usual size and they are about a half size bigger but not enough to be unwearable or "clompy". I've worn them a few times already, even though I've only had them about a week. I hope they are durable/hold up but only time and use will tell. I would definitely recommend these boots.

I owned a pair of Dr. Martens oxfords many years ago, and they seemed to run a little on the small size, though they were extremely comfortable. That is not the case with the Sussex Work Boot. It is very roomy in the toe area, which is where other shoes seem to come up short (no pun intended). The air insoles provide a walking experience that reminds me of my fleece-lined slippers that I wear around the house. Break-in was all of 15 minutes; maybe enough time to warm up the leather.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy another pair of Dr. Martens--maybe because I hadn't seen a chukka boot style in stores--but I'm glad I tried them again. I look forward to many years of comfortable wear.
