I was looking around for the "old school" hush puppies in a woman's size at a good price. Couldn't find any ...anywhere. Found these on AMAZON...they are in a boys size ..which is about 2 sizes different than woman's....go down 2 sizes. I wear a 8 1/2 in woman's...got the 7 in boys...fit great. Happy to have my high school favorite back :P)

Discount Tretorn Men's Krona Mid Leather Chukka Sneaker

I have a pair of Tretorn sneakers that are almost exactly like this but made of a slightly different material. I purchased them two years ago and love them, but they're falling apart (Tretorns are nice-looking but not particularly well-made. The sole is coming off) so I figured I'd get a replacement at exactly the same size (7). So I ordered these in a 7 and they are waaaaaay too small, maybe a full size too small. What a pain! Shoe sizes aren't consistent across brands, sure, but you think they'll at least be consistent within a brand! And because, as Amazon put it, "the error isn't theirs," I have to pay 5 bucks return shipping. Should have just ordered from Zappos -still would have gotten the wrong size, but the return would have been free.

Bottom line, the shoe is awesome looking, but Tretorn's 2012 size 7 is much smaller than Tretorn's 2009 size 7. I've never had a men's size 7 fit so poorly. Order a full size larger from your foot size.

I've been looking for this boot in my size forever (I'm a longtime Wolvervine 1000 mile owner) These are far more comfortable due to the sole insert compared to other wolverines, which are flat with no arch support, these are quite the opposite. Also, they are Made in China.

No idea if they are worth the price as I've not had them long enough to test quality. I received Major blisters the first day.
