I bought these shoes for school because I am a music teacher that doesn't sit and after an entire day my feet hurt like crazy after wearing Doc Martens. These shoes were a nice alternative since I also have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to my class. Even my students were commenting on how nice they looked. I am also going to buy the navy ones and some of the other colors I've seen on amazon.com!

This shoe fits well and runs true to size. It isn't special and doesn't seem that resistant to lots of wear, but it is comfortable and looks great.

The construction is of very poor quality and that says it all. Most shoes today are, sadly, made in China, but some Chinese shoes apparently have much better quality control. I was so dissatisfied with the Florsheim that I bought a pair of bucks made by Bass (of Weejun fame) because of the high quality of the material as well as the comfortable arch support and many other quality touches. And the Bass shoes were $20 less.

Size is ok, however, the entrance is a bit tight. My feet were like being squeezed and very uncomfortable to walk.
