Thought that I was buying quality US made boots. Although they are US made they are not made for a construction worker who actually works on his feet. I have used them for a month and the sol is worn out. I used them for normal working conditions; ladders, carpet, tile, and concrete floors. No walking on rebar, no walking on floor joists, nothing that would damage the sol. I definitely would not recommend these boots unless you want to put them on a shelf and use them as bookends.

This boot looks and feels very good when new, but the soles wear-out within a couple months, and the shoe laces are cut by sharp edges on the eyelets. The padding falls apart after a few months. This item is also sold as "Thorogood Men's Oblique Collection 6" Boot".
