Here's the low down: I needed some boots for an emergency cross country motorcycle trip. I didn't have a lot of money and I need something warm. These boots kept my feet completely free from windchill in 30 degree weather during the winter for six days. The only issue was that when I went through a blizzard, the snow dripped and seaped into the boots and I ended up riding for 3 or 4 hours with wet feet. The material is waterproof, but the boot itself is not completely sealed. So you'll have to take that into account. But I won't knock another point off, because bottom line, these boots are tough, comfortable and warm. And they're cheap!

These shoes were oh so comfortable considering I have flat feet and really can't tolerate
