But it falls short of my expectations on 2 counts
1. It is difficult to get on (to do with the way shoe is designed, in-spite of laces), stiff, and not comfortable to wear over long periods (a few hours of outing). Maybe it will break-in after some time I can only hope so.
2. The soles are slippery, and while there has been an attempt made to stick some patches under the soles to fix this problem, it does not help much. Also, one of the patches is slightly overlaid on the side of the heal, which is clearly a quality control issue.
For a supposedly designer shoe, I am afraid, it is not just good enough.

i am a very particular person. so much so, that its frustrating for me to shop, because i can find a basic flaw in almost anything i see. and i cant help but redesign everything i see or buy, and im constantly asking myself why they didnt make it that way, because it wouldnt have been any more expensive.so.... i could make a change or two to these shoes to make them even better, but i still think theyre great.
i especially like the comfort factor, theyre just a touch dressy, or high end casual, but they feel alot like the old favorites even after only about an hour on my feet.

I have owned these boots for about 3 months, and recently had to repair them as one of the shoes became detached from the base. The shoes look great and fit well, but, as they can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time and are apparently not well suited for extended use, I would not recommend them.
