I ended up sending this shoe back immediately after receiving for the following reasons:1. For what I received, this shoe cost way to much. It wasn't distinct in the least and was rather underwhelming in design. I don't mind paying a good bit of money for shoes that blow my mind. Despite being super excited by the pictures, these were not worthwhile shoes in person.
2. Despite ordering the correct size, found the shoes to be too tight in the wrong places. The fit was just super close around the toe. Length was fine but fit was off. My feet are very narrow and I have never had a problem with tightness around the top of the foot.
I sent these back to Amazon and their very efficient return policy made it super easy. I instead opted for the lower priced leather John Varvatos Chuck Taylors that have a similar boat shoe toe, but whose design is much better.
