I wear Timberland boots but it has not really snowed at all here in the northeast (although it is snowing as I type now!), so I wanted something lighter. I was going to get sneakers but I am trying to leave those alone. I then saw the Jordan sneaker/shoe things which looked good and that was the direction I was going to go in. Then I came across these. These the perfect blend of the boot and sneaker. It has the adult looks of the boot along with the security that you get when you wear them. It has the lightness of the sneaker along with the feel (on the bottom) and they are a good mix. The price is not bad either.
I have flat feet and I was going to hold up on the purchase since Nike Air or Shox work best for my feet, but these are comfortable with the flat bottoms but boot treads. They are comfortable but do not expect the heaviness and thickness of a Timberland bottom.

The fit of the shoes is great since I have wide feet and it's comfortable for walking. It is the classic Ralph Lauren shoe. The grey/black combination matched most outfits. The high top canvas sneaker held up. I am ordering it again for winter in all leather.

The shoe is overall very nice. Heavy duty enough for comfortable walking but not too bulky. As a warning though the shoelaces tear apart easily so get different ones. Also, the sizes are about half a size bigger than they are listed. I usually wear size 11s and the pair I got was slightly longer than normal 11s but they still work.

I received the shoes quickly they are very nice. However the box they were in was kind of beat up.
