The shoe loose-fitting, and yet the vamp a little stiff, strangely enough. I normally find that saddle shoes are comfier, floppier than this. Otherwise a great, long-lasting, everyday shoe for me, with just a touch of retro to the look.

I sympathize with J.R. Gray's troubles with the order, but I'd like to remind others that most people take these reviews as criticisms of the brand in question, not of Amazon itself, and will skip a product if it doesn't have enough stars. This is not a forum in which to complain about lousy packaging or poor customer service on Amazon's part, as it potentially victimizes the product manufacturer instead.

I bought these shoes on line believing they were leather. They look and feel like plastic. I would not recommend them at all.

The colors of this shoe are very rich and vibrant. The leather is high quality. My only complaint is that they ran noticably large, at least on half size.

These are good comfortable shoes, although they run at least 1/2 size too large; this should be noted if you choose to order a pair.

The shoes arrived quickly enough, but both the outer and the inner boxes looked as if they had been run over by a truck. I was glad to see the shoes were not damaged, but it was obvious that ABSOLUTELY NO CARE AT ALL was given to the packing or the shipping of these shoes. Both boxes literally screamed "mindless throw-it-in-a box handling" upon arrival.

Without question, this was the worst looking Amazon package I have ever received, and it tells me that their quality control has gone to zero. Amazon is squarely to blame for failing to include even a modicum of packing material around the inner box, but the pathetic condition of the outer box was obviously due to the gross negligence of UPS.

Fast and affordable shipping is one thing, but cheap careless shipping is quite another. If I hadn't needed these shoes right away, I would have returned them strictly because of the pathetic condition of the shipping materials.

Four stars for the shoes, NEGATIVE 10 for the packing and shipping.
