This boot is great. The leather is not the finest but it is very good. I got the black boot. I usually wear a 8-1/2 but I could have used a 8. Very comfortable and stylish boot. The only thing I didn't like was the tassle. The leather was very light so tassle didn't lie flat against the boot, it stuck out sideways. Otherwise a great boot.

I had been looking for a Chelsea style boot to wear with my cropped pants in the winter. You know the ones... Gap in funky colours. J Crew and Vince Camuto have really similar ones. I wanted something with a little weight and maybe a little detail with a nice chunky high heel. I thought these would fit the bill. Um... No. Definite no. The height is wrong hitting right at the hemline of the pant. That wouldn't actually be a problem if the width of the boot shaft was narrower and therefore closer to my ankle. These were so wide I looked like Olive Oil with ridiculously skinny ankles. Ok, I have slim ankles but it isn't like they look like you could snap them like a twig. Honestly, even if they looked better on, I am not sure I would keep them. The inside flap on the zipper and the inside collar were made of the worst plastic like vinyl I have ever seen. Seriously, it looked like black electrical tape. Back they went and the hunt continues. The outside leather is pebbley. It was acceptable and if these would work for you, the fit is true to size.

I'd recommend this to anyone. I loved the boot but they definitely do run small. I'm exchanging them for a 6.5 when I'm usually a 6, so definitely do so as well! Such a deal. Great quality. Can't wait to get my other ones tomorrow. Great height, leather is soft, true to color amazon posted .
