This is a great looking back-to-earth looking shoe. If it weren't made in China like almost all shoes are in this commercial cheap-labor day and age you might think it could've been hand made by some craftsman on this side of the Atlantic. It really does feel and wear more like a moccasin than a street shoe. So if you are looking for arch or any foot support you will need to look elsewhere. It does have a removable insole and if you insist, you could try replacing it with a more supportive insole. The foot bed itself is quite thin, at least for a shoe, but strong if you want to think of it as a Hush Puppies moccasin.

They're good for around the house, boating, kind of like moccasins, They do not have very good support and they are lower cut around the ankle then they appear. I will keep them for around the house wear and short trips to the store but I wouldn't wear them for outings longer than 2 hours.. I wear a 10 1/2 wide normally and was able to fit comfortable in a 10..

I loved Hush puppies. Light with nice look this brand was always attractive for me. That model took my attention and I ordered it. Now , from my experience, I can say that the juice is not worth the squeeze. The look is great, but the quality is very poor. Maybe it's my bad luck, but the shoes lasted less than 3 months.

I have to agree with the other reviewer on here that these fit more like mocassins indeed (i.e., not much arch support or comfort). However, the style is definitely nice and hard to come buy with more "dressy" shoes. Hush Puppies usually makes MUCH more comfy shoes. Too bad.

It's too bad it's so hard to find Hush Puppies shoes. I was really surprised to come across these on Amazon, and snatched up a pair in size 11, even thought I wear 10.5 When the shoes arrived, they were in perfect condition, and I was happy to see that a lot of quality went into the stitchwork, and the selection of materials. The width of the shoe is generous, and like the other reviewer mentions, these are more of moc style shoe, so you probably wouldn't want to use them for long walks.
