These are "dream" boots. I was so pleased. The quality was just incredible. They are so super easy to get on and off on rainy, snowy, muddy days (although I wouldn't let my son wear them in the mud!) Super comfortable. My son is almost eight, so the velcro thing I wasn't sure about, but it's not real obvious because when wearing them with pants, the boots look just like simple little slip on oxfords, so they don't look too young so to speak. Perfect sizing and even with a higher instep, they can loosely be velcroed over the top of the foot. For school uniforms, I would highly recommend them, I bought one pair in navy to go with navy pants and I'm buying one pair in brown to go with khaki pants, and that's it, we won't need but these two pairs of shoes for the entire school year unless we have an unusually large growth amount. Awesome shoes.

This boot looks great, although a little dressy for the playground. It's easy for us to get on and off (but not for a toddler), and seems comfortable. The sole is very flexible, which is great. Two reasons for not giving 5 stars. (1) The suede is not super practical for outdoors. We've found it hard to get off mud and food spills. (2) There is actually quite a wide "edge" between the stitching and the outside of the sole, making the shoe considerably wider than the foot. It has taken my daughter a while to get used to that extra width, and she tripped because of it at first. But all together a very nice looking shoe, especially for more dressy occasions.

Bought this for my 8 y o nephew as a Christmas gift and it was a hit. he loves the look and most of all he loves the feel of the shoes. The shoes can be used as a dress up or dress down so I am happy with my purchase.

these are little "desert shoes" we purchased for our baby son. they are well made and the color is almost identical to the one advertised. we'd definitely buy it again (when they get on sale!)

I got this shoe for my 13 month old son. He has a wide and chubby foot. This shoe fits him perfectly, the strap on the top of the shoes is truly universal, it assure closure on any type of foot. (ordinary shoe straps didn't reach from one end to another). The sole is super soft, the details are very clean, it can be worn with casual and dressy clothes. The insole comes out to air out and keep it smelling nice. I will buy this shoe again once my son outgrows this one. It's pricey but so worth it.
